Which do you prefer: Hydrocodone or Oxycodone?

Funny how no one commented on the intensity of withdrawls between the two substances..

Ive never nodded on oxy to the point where i fall asleep like with hydro, but that doesnt mean its any less good

The only downside is that hydros ratios all have APAP in them, so itd be hard for people with bad livers to abuse hydro. Maybe there is a reason they dont make hydro in pure form, i bet itd be too abused.

I'm not dissing your hydro. But I'm just saying. If I can get high off an 80 one pill instead of 10 hydros what is the point of wasting so much hydrocodone, you know?
Mainly, you are right about convience. It's easier to take one than many.
But overall I like an oc high way better then a vike high.

I support your defense. In open-mindness.

I did oxycontin for the entire summer every day last year and stopped in August. I didnt have any withdrawl. Have only done it once since August. Which was like a week ago.

I think you have to have the mentality. An addicting personality to go through all the withdrawl shit. Or else it doesnt mean anything to you. At least it didnt to me. And doesnt.

Not because they aint "done it right" not because they aint done the right dose, not becuase they 'just believe the hype', not because they 'think its better because you can snort it' but just because they like it better.

I would rather take 20mg of Oxy than 80 mg of Hydro ANY DAY HANDS DOWN yo.

Its just personal preference...no matter how much you wanna say its better, its only better in your mind. And oxy is only better in my mind. so what is there to be arguing about?

its not hard to understand that people sincerely do like oxy better than hydro. no one is saying that EVERYONE is dismissing hydro just because of the hype and simplicity behind oxy. You have to admit that there are people on this board that look more into hype and shit like that than they do into actual experience. Not everyone, but there are quite a few (go into ED and youll see what i mean).

And also, i know you had a thing with heroin in the past (ive read it in other threads) and that could be a contributing factor to why hydro isnt that great for you. From my experience, tolerance never goes away. When you use again, your tolerance may be significantly lower, but its nowhere near back to normal. So you have to take that in to account.

Again, im not saying you have to like hydro, you just cant be so dismissive of what me and others who do like hydro are saying. Because basically, youre saying that we dont respect others opinions, and then youre in turn not respecting our opinions by doing what it is you think were doing. lol thats confusing, so if you dont understand that, skip it. And also, no offense meant by it.

I was gonna say the exact same thing about H being a factor in why she might not enjoy highdros, but i didnt wanna have her ramble at me.

And Lacey, if you cant get high on 80 mg of hydrocodone then something is def wrong with your system...

less sedating opiate < more sedating opiate, thats just why i choose hydro, if it wasnt for that then i dont know whered id be. I also think hydro is twice better than oxy for pain management maybe because of the apap that comes with it, but thats my opinion.

Actually I have broken my neck and was on Oxycontin 20 BID for some time, but I didnt like them as much as the Lortabs...I am on Oxy IR right now for a femur injury...I would rather have the Lortabs....Its just me...I have had plenty of the good stuff to know...and I know what I like...

^take 1 norco in the morning before eating anything and i will guarantee you WILL feel something. Even if that something is for 2 minutes, its still somethin brotha!
 
I also think that with hydro your tolerance doesnt skyrocket in the first week like with oxy. I have been doing 40mg once a day for like 2 weeks and i havent needed to dose more.

I used to be at 100mg, thank god for my tolerance resetting, i cant tell you how happy i am only taking 4 norcs.=D

Question:

Do you think its harder to build a tolerance if your only dosing once every 24 hours, or is it the same as dosing once every 12 hours? Thanks
 
OCjunky - NORCOS ARE THE FUCKING SHIT!! I LOVE THEM THINGS! WHEN I HAVE LOTS OF EM I FEEL SO HAPPY JUST LOOKING AT EM. SOMETIMES WHEN ILL HAVE LIKE 120 OF EM AND I GIVE 1 TO A GIRL, I FEEL LIKE I WASTED 1 LOL!

i guess youve never delved to deep into opiate usage. Once you have, get back to me, cuz youll realize the less people youre around, the better. And also, im not greedy, i just dont like wastin my money/vicodin on other people when they got their own money. If they have their own cash, they can hang out if they want. There is a rare case when someone special like a new friend or a really really good friend i havnt seen in a long time comes around. But thats rare.

And i didnt no "bake" applied to taking hydrocodone. Thats just silly. ;)

Now, where were we? OH YEAH. we were discussing how Hydro is superior to Oxy. And...go!

Also, if i was paying for hydro then i WOULDNT give them out, so i totally get where your coming from, but i get my 120 for 15 dollers =D , so i kinda feel guilty and greedy if i dont share them a few times with people
