i honestly bet the only reason most people pick oxy is because oxy is just as easy to obtain as hydro, but the amount of oxy you get for how much you spend is incredible, so its a lot easier to get higher.
Now imagine an 80mg hydro pill, same as an OxyContin, except its HydroContin. Then it would be more fair to make a judgement on which drug is better.
Also, im willing to bet most people here havent even tried high doses of hydro because of the fact its more expensive. I know there are people on here who have and have formed a valid opinion based on it, which is cool and i dont disrespect that, but i bet a few of these posters are pretty opiate naieve and dont know what they are talking about.

i have takin around 80mg of hydro back when i didnt know alot about opiates ....it scared the hell outta me cause i was nodding out so bad ,i didnt have control over it ...then i nodded out for 3 hours after i couldnt fight it anymore....was dumb but showed me what hydrocodone was made of ...and i loved it ,

Well, the obvious answer to me is oxycodone. Much more euphoric. Plus there's that lovely rush if you snort or plug it. However, it is expensive and tends to keep me awake for a while. So, hydrocodone has its uses as well (for a stimulant comedown or a more sedating high). But again, I would say oxycodone is the better of the two.

ill back it up with math:
80mg / 7.5 = 10.66 (thats how many 7.5's you need to make 80mgs)
now multiply the 10.66 by 3 dollars equals 32 dollars.
thats just to make them equal in dosage. If you want them equal in strength youll need 100 - 120mgs of hydro. We'll go in the middle, 110mgs.
110 / 7.5 = 14.66
14.66 x 3 = 44 dollars.
so if you pay less than 32 dollars for 80mgs of oxy, its a lot smarter to buy that. Most people i know of do pay less than 32 dollars for them and i think thats the same reason they prefer them over hydro.

I think people choose oxy over hydro because they are opiate naive and since you can snort oc, they think its a miracle opiate because of its convience. Its also easier to just take one pill rather than a few. As i also said, there is such a strong hype over oxycontin its ridiculous.

Ive never nodded on oxy to the point where i fall asleep like with hydro, but that doesnt mean its any less good
The only downside is that hydros ratios all have APAP in them, so itd be hard for people with bad livers to abuse hydro. Maybe there is a reason they dont make hydro in pure form, i bet itd be too abused.

Youguys are so lucky to have an OC hookup or Hydro hookup. Here in Canada, at least where I live it is almost impossible to find any type of opiate, or downer, unless you live in Vancouver. I would die for an OC hookup. Most people in Canada don't even know what Xanax, or any benzo's are for that matter. Everyone up here are mostly meth heads/crack heads/Stim heads. Don't mean to hijack this thread, just jealous of how lucky some of you are.

Kidney stones usually don't last more than a few hours, but I went to the ER and the doctor there gave me a script for 50 Dilaudid, a very strong opiate. I haven't done oxycodone in a while, since I switched to smack, but I really like how sedating hydrocodone is, even though I have to take a large amount to enjoy it.

Ive took huge doses of Hydro. Ive drank an entire bottle of Hycodan syrup at once before. ive took 70 mg, 60 mg, whatever. I still would answer oxy over hydro everytime. and it still dont hardly effect me like it seems to get yall. (keep in mind i got no tolerance if any, i rarely use any opiates.) But WHY IS IT SO HARD TO UNDERSTAND THAT SOME PEOPLE REALLY JUST DO LIKE OXY BETTER? Not because they aint "done it right" not because they aint done the right dose, not becuase they 'just believe the hype', not because they 'think its better because you can snort it' but just because they like it better.
I would rather take 20mg of Oxy than 80 mg of Hydro ANY DAY HANDS DOWN yo.
Its just personal preference...no matter how much you wanna say its better, its only better in your mind. And oxy is only better in my mind. so what is there to be arguing about?
