Which do you prefer: Hydrocodone or Oxycodone?

There is no comparison. oxycontins are way stronger.

i know some people like hydro better, but i just dont understand why. oxycodone is way better to me, and if I ever get my hands on oxymorphone i think Ill like it way better than OC

Oxy is a lot more sedating where as Hydro is more of a "fun party drug". But I would say given the choice where I had to pick one forever it would be Oxy, despite it's rather negative side effects.

Anyone else doing Oxy ever get splitting headaches and occasionally spend a few hours tossing their lunch?

very good topic. bumpdy bump bump. as for me it have to be hydro for sure via norcos. oxys for one have very brief highs, overpriced, and feel like they cause more damage internally than norcos do, even tho they have no aspirin. also when i take norcos i can always shit the next morning but when i take oxys im constipated to hell!

hydros-- I feel I get a lot more euphoria and energy off of them, oxycodone just makes me feel stoned. Plus, I keep my tolerance pretty low, so I can get a good buzz of them without too much of a problem.

Hydro was my first opiate and I just tried Oxycodone (Percocet, not OxyContin), and found the Oxy to be really speedy. I love the energy it gave me, but I didn't feel as "high" as I do on Hydros or pod tea. I'd say I prefer Hydros (no more than 2 at a time) 1st, then Histussin HC syrup, then Oxys, then pod tea, then codeine.

I didn't really see the big difference in euphoria, pain-killing potential, or overall high in Oxy vs. Hydro. Then again, it was my first time, and I usually don't get high my first time with ANYTHING, so...I agree with the poster who says, "If hydros work for you, don't go on to Oxy". Sounds like good advice to me!

Honestly, I think I would have to go with hydrocodone as well. I find the half-life of oxycodone to be relatively short, therefore (in my experience) I find the peaks and troughs to be much more pronounced than with hydrocodone.
