I was just watching an episode of My So-called Life when I thought, "God, I wish I knew someone like Rayanne when I was in school". There's characters that you wish you could be, and there's characters that you relate to, but who would you like to meet or be friends with?.

'Rayanne Graff' My So-Called Life:

During this short lived, cult classic, I was no doubt one of many young girls that related to Angela's character. But it was Rayanne that always interested me the most. On the surface she seemed unpredictable, wild, and carefree. When in reality, she was as messed up as anyone else at that age. There was a sense of mystery about her during the entire series. But as it approached the end, you began to see that she was no different from anyone else. Still, top notch character.

'Mrs Anna Madrigal' Tales Of The City

After watching this amazing series (which I cannot rate highly enough btw) I then turned to the novels to find out how it all ended. I instantly fell for Mrs Madrigal's character, played by Olympia Dukakis in such a wonderfully warm manner. I found myself wishing that I lived at 28 Barbary Lane as one of her hand picked tennants. I'd wake up in the morning to find a joint taped to the front door made from her secret stash tucked away in the garden.

"Some people drink to forget. Personally, I smoke to remember." :) <3

'Aunt Sarah' Six Feet Under

The cool hippie aunt I always wished I had. So enthusiastic, creative, awesome, and with such a zest for life. Everything is an adventure with Aunt Sarah. I wanna visit her and her crazy friends at Tapanga Canyon, dance around a fire whilst banging an old drum, bark at the moon on magic mushrooms, and have her offer me a sly Vicodin at meal time. =D

--Jane Lane from Daria.

--Egon from Ghostbusters.

--Cpl. Hicks from Aliens.

--Andy Dufresne from The Shawshank Redemption.

--Bill from Twister

--And let's not forget Indiana Jones.

I really could go on and on...

Nadine Velazquez who plays Catalina in My Name Is Earl for obvious reasons, but there's something so damn cool about her. Jaime Pressly with hair in bunchies would be nice as well. :)

In fact, fuck it, I'd like to meet all the characters from My Name Is Earl.

benjamin from Lost. i have a major hard-on for his character!

Hard-on aside, I agree. I think Benjamin Linus is one of the best characters written for television in years. This guy has so many layers, and he's just now... after three seasons, starting to show them.

i dunno. i was fascinated with him from the get go. he just has a presence, ya know? like even before he was really developed, you could just tell that trouble was on the way. i love him.

Dr. Cox from Scrubs.

I always liked his character, very witty and clever. He's already an alchy so we'd have some drinks to fuel some intellectual arguments.

Carrie from Sex & The City so I could slap her in the face.

can you believe they made a film based on this series!? I just saw an add for it sponsored by Vitamin Water. I used to like them, but now I'm all about the Sobe Life Water. They have more than just vitamins and they're cheaper!

and most definitely the Super Hot Giant Alien from "Dude, Where's my car?"

'Clementine Kruczynski' Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind

She just seemed so quirky and bubbly. Definitely the kind of person I'd wanna hang out with.

Pam Beasley (The Office)

Elliot Reed (Scrubs)

Kara Thrace (Battlestar Galactica)

The Dude (Big Lebowski)

GOB Bluth (Arrested Development)

President Josiah Bartlett (The West Wing)
