What careers are associated with certain drugs?

For example, I associate farmers/agricultural workers with meth.

Lacey, close if necessary. I did a few searches and couldn't find a similar thread.

I associate restaurant/club workers with coke.

General laborers with alcohol.

Students/worthless people with pot.

Rich college kids with x.

Junkies with heroin.

Just some general associations I'm sure almost ALL of them are completely wrong, and it's kind of pointless but if I was going to categorize careers into what drugs they are most likely going to abuse, that would be it.

worthless people with pot. Brilliant analysis.

junkies w/ heroin. again brilliant.

drivers amphetamines/meth
CEO's Coke
musicians artists etc heroin. psychedelics. pot. I assume there on it all.
DJ's E. coke also
Cops. Alcohol
atheletes. Steroids.

Yea nothing groundbreaking here

your a pretty big tool eh?
I know lots of sucessful people that took marijuana occasionally.
I smoke occasionally and i would call myself far from worthless.
What exactly do you call yourself and what do you bring to the table of humanity?

Meth = Truck Drivers
Coke = Small Business Owners and Wall Street
LSD = Hippies and Grate Dead fans
Crack = Panhandlers
Alcohol = Blue collar workers

Painkillers and Viagra and Cigars and Expensive Wine = The Voice of Truth, Rush Limbaugh woot!

students are worthless? and people who smoke pot are worthless? 8)

Jobs that pay min. wage --> Anything and everything, at least in my experience.

Same with high schoolers.

meth - restaurant workers
booze/coke - office workers
LSD - struggling musicians
datura - farmers
opiates - construction workers
weed - everything else

This is definitely true. Most people I know who are heavily addicted to oxys and heroin are construction workers. I think it has partly to do with ease of access to opiates from the high percentage of accidents on the job. Also, I can imagine that working hard as a laborer would be hard on the body leading many construction workers to use opiates to ease the pain.

+1 on the office workers doing coke.

Keep 'em coming!

Journalists - coke (then wonder why we think they're hypcrites when they write about someone's coke addiction)

It'd like to see the stats on that. Basically how income relates to drug use.

Not saying you're wrong...

Music Industry-E, Weed, Heroin, Dissociatives, Coke

Construction-Alcohol, Coke, Opiates

Students-Weed, Booze, E, Blow

Hairdressers-Coffee and Booze

Bus Drivers-Hopefully not much

7-11 Dudes-meth. I think. Could be wrong.

The guys who work at my local 7-11 seem high on meth all the time. Especially when I show up drunk at 2am to buy cigs after the bars close... yeah if I worked at a min. wage job overnight I'd probably do meth too.
