Which book or books would you like to see be made into a movie?

i still haven't finished reading it but "golden fox" by wilbur smith is fuckin epic and would make and incredible 3+ hour film.
 
I thought i'd posted in this thread already, guess not. Must've been a very similar thread.

I nominate The Silmarillion. I don't actually believe it can be made into a movie, but i'm sure most people thought the same about LOTR before Jackson and crew made it happen. Still, it leaves LOTR for dead in terms of epicness, and would make an absolutely unreal movie, or more likely, a set of movies.

In the Wake of the Plague: The Black Death and the World it Made, by Norman Cantor.

And I don't mean some educational PBS crap (although being informative is always good). I think it'd be a really interesting movie if Hollywood made it right.
