Eating shit as per fuckin usual...
I'm currently looking for inspiration for more websites to indulge my time wasting actvities.

So which are your top five?

Here are mine (in no particular order):

http://www.newscientist.com/ :?
http://www.instructables.com/ 8(
http://www.erowid.org/ %)
http://www.b3ta.com/ =D
http://xhamster.com/ 8o

Edit: no sourcing sites of course...

Edit again: Having now seen some of the replies, I think I need to lay some more ground rules:

1) Sites should be interesting - at least to the user
2) No search engines such as 'google.com'
3) No 'Wikipedia', as this is probably ubiquitous anyway
4) No social networking sites for attention seeking sycophantic wankers such as me (e.g. Facebook, Twatter, Bluelight etc) ;)

There is so much dross out there it seems harder to find decent sites. Early in my internet days every session would be a world of discovery. I suppose it's still out there, but it all seems so heavily corporate now. I only use about four or five sites regularly and other than wikipedia they're all a bit niche (no not foot fetish sites).

So I'm not telling :D

Cracked.com is great for passing time and some of the articles are absolute gems. The best ones imo are the survival/badass/military stories.

edit; if you want to crack one out (eyyyy) then xvideos.com will treat you well

CTRL-H shows history, then choose By Most Visited in the View drop-down.

If I do that it says that my second favourite is a taxi trading site! I have never bought or sold a taxi, I just built the website.

My router admin page is up there too!

OK...

BL
www.libcom.org
www.guardian.co.uk
*snip no vendor discussion*
www.google.co.uk

Im sure there was a button somewhere that says how many times you've visited too.

bluelight
facebook
*email site*
*music download site*
bbc (weather, inshore waters forecast, and tidetables)
probably soundcloud/mixcloud too

porn sites are incognito as me son shares the poota. (Not that they'd feature in the top 5 anyway :sus: )

Pray tell; what, exactly, is 'niche' about 'guardian.co.uk' and 'google.co.uk'? Hmmm?

Well obviously I get my own special versions. But no I had thought some other site would beat the guardian in the top 5 but it did not. Then I realised that the stats include my phone and tablet usage cos I've got firefox linked between them and I do use the guardian a lot when I'm on the train. I had thought www.debian.org would be in there.
