where's your manners?

Standing at a Zebra Crossing and cars driving straight on by... I take to saying "Why thankyou!" at them... Cunts :|

the massive amount of parent/child spaces in supermarkets annoy me. especially when you go in the evening when there are no parents with kids shopping and you still feel under pressure to leave two whole rows of spaces empty, in the pissing rain.

I'm a bit of a bitchy hypocrite when it comes to this. If it's of an hour when children should be in bed and the spaces are available its a free for all IMO. Sorry but 9pm onwards fuck it. Kids shouldn't out and if for some reason ( travelling what not ) they are there aren't THAT many. I have no qualms at all with that. Hypocrite? perhaps.

I've had two rows regarding this. I helped my disabled grandmother limp all the way across a car park cos all the bays were taken when this stupid bitch came skipping out the shop. I saw red & confronted her (after checking there was no badge in the car) and she muttered something about having a bad back. I saw even redder and the profanities flew. I like to think she'll think twice before doing it again but I doubt it.

The second time was in a motorway services, 4 big fat fuckers came strolling out clutching their KFCs and got in the car next to us (disabled bay again). I couldn't resist asking 'where's your disabled badge mate?' to which the driver replied 'fuck off'. Before I could stop myself I said 'oh no, I see your disability now, you're stupid fat & ugly, fair play I'll let you off'. My bro (who was driving) was muttering at me to shut the fuck up and how they probably had baseball bats, he was even less pleased when we hit slow moving traffic on the motorway and had to drive alongside them for about 2 miles =D

Shops should monitor & clamp for abuse of these spaces IMO.

That just made my day. You're my hero. My OH made someone move their vehicle once out of shame because they'd parked in a disabled bay. Again their only disability had been obesity and arrogance. His father is disabled and it really pisses both of us off when folk take those bays from the those who require its intended use. There is a reason it's that close to the shop. It's not a luxury its a kindness for those who really need it.

Yeah I guess theres a few pluses to that^^ your probally guaranteed a nice bit of compensation but youll be spending your money from your wheelchair for the rest of your days.

Smokers who form gangs outside shops making it impossible to enter/leave a shop without having at least one lung full of smoke

really? i cant recall the last time i encountered a gang of smokers outside a shop. even outside offices its rare to see more than 2 at a time. most smokers i know go out of their way to not blow smoke in others' face, but even if they did.. i can easily hold my breath for the time it takes to walk a few steps - not ideal, granted - but preferable to getting a lung full. anyway, they congregate because the smoking ban forced them to. be careful what you wish for

* gangs of mothers that clutter up starbucks during the day looking weirdly at you as if they own the fucking joint
* cyclist buddies on the road, usually the full-spandex types that like to ride side by side so you can't pass them, fucking piss take
* actually I think push bikes should not be allowed on any main roads at all, too fucking dangerous. In central London these cyclists take the piss too and bring death on themselves.
* lorry drivers overtaking each other on the motorway grrr
* people that don't wave when you stop at a pedestrian crossing. This happens all the time at uni (uni students are so impolite). When it happens I rapidly accelerate towards them so that they have to acknowledge me by taking avoiding action! I have noticed that this always happens with Chinese people, they operate in a parallel universe and will never acknowledge your existence under any circumstances. Their gormlessness knows no limit.
* white van drivers that constantly push in and drive like cunts
* cars that don't give enough space to motorcyclists (again I think it's dangerous enough to ride a bike on the road and you shouldn't pressure them under any circumstances) and yes I have a bike license
* cunts that never buy any of their own drugs
* tailgaters

thats it for now, will think of more later ;) x

Drivers slow to respond at traffic lights - get ready to go on amber, not green, by the time their moving the lights are changing back to amber/red.

Supermarket offers - you get home before you realise they've charged you full price.

Disabled drivers parking in parent/child bays when disabled bays available. Vice versa they'd go mad at you.

One thing I cant stand is when I am in a que in a shop and i move forward to put a bit of space between me and the person behind me and then they shuffle forward as well cramming me even tighter between people, I normally have to leave the shop if this happens.

I fucking hate that. I turn and glare at them right in the eyeball and then very pointedly step further away, all the way maintaining eye contact.

The car equivalent is when you're on the motor way and every time you try and leave a decent gap between you & the car in front, some fucker dives into it. I notice it most on the m25, you have no choice but to drive at 70+ with a car 2 meters from either bumper, which I really hate.

The cough thing really grinds my gears.
Yeah, and this. Having been on the bus recently, and actually feeling someone's mucous hit the back of my head, it made me feel sick. A lad would have gotten a smack.

Older people that victimise me , look at me like im going to knive them. Being stopped twice at tescos because they were convinced I had stolen some bread and milk, even though I showed them my receipt twice. Why would I be stealing milk??

I've been cycling on the road for about 30 years, in the country and in cities and on all manner of roads. I never thought about a car's blind spot and I never seemed to have a problem.
I drive in a suburban town. Perhaps I needn't be as careful I am, but it is not hard for me to avoid them, and it just makes life easier for drivers.

Or do you stick religiously to cycle lanes? They're not fit for purpose in this country and I'm sure you know that.
Usually it's at traffic lights where the car is just setting off, and I am in the cycle lane a little behind having just behind. The one I have in mind which is bad for it is just after the traffic lights, and so as I come past, I have had people try to turn left when they have not been indicating. Fortunately I've never collided, but it's been close.
On a wider road I might cycle down the centre of the road to the lights, but it's quite narrow, and still means I have to merge back in later or risk upset drivers stuck behind me.
