I live in upstate ny and I really miss the *NO PRICES* a gram "beaster" bud i used to get 4 years ago that flooded the upstate. I would say beaster is really good dense thc covered bud that looks like headies but the high isnt as potent. For the past couple years the only thing that goes around is either mids or really good *NO PRICES* headies. So is it just me or is this happening all around the country? I really miss paying *NO PRICES* for a nice 8th of some really nice bud :\

I believe beasters are a popular commercial canadian bud called m39.
And it's sold off to alot of Americanos who tend to believe that it's BC bud .
Correct me if I'm wrong ....

But yeah m39/beasters is like common strain here . Whenever you buy reggie weed (not exo or scwhwag) the majority of the time u'll get m39 .
It's cheap here in Canada too. Oooh soo cheap ! I wish I could write prices haha .

But like people here are getting tired of it -and are now resorting to way better strains for a sllliiiiughtly higher price.
But yeah I hear weed is expensive in alot of states hence why u guy prolly have to stick to m39 without burning a hole in ones pocket hehe

But yes iunno why u guys across the border aren't getting any .
Maybe the canadians new conservative government has started to enforce it's ant drug law policies similar too the USA ?
Who knws lool
tbh? Noone

I certainly don't miss the beasters - when I was in college, it was beasters or mids, with headies being a rare treat. The beasters seem less common lately, definitely - but with good headies being easier to get, so I'm happy with it.

Headies are well worth the extra $ IMO. Everyone I know now smokes named strains of quality weed, instead of those damned beasters. The quality of the high just wasn't on a par with good headies - they were potent, but they weren't anything nearly as enjoyable as the headies.

heads>beasters
ive also herd of beasters being canadian
for a while all i got was what you'd call beasters, or at least seedless little compact ass buds with red hairs

Beasters are scam bud. They might look and smell decent but don't pack a decent punch. I've heard that many beasters are beaten or gently sieved to remove trichomes for hash before hitting the market. The trichome-less bud then still has some bag appeal for the naive that are used to compressed brickweed thus can be sold for more than they're actually worth.

Beasters/mids/reg are easier on my crazy mind. Not to say I don't love the quality buds but sometimes the wear my mind out.

^Same here, smoking nothing but dank burns me out big time but smoking lower grades doesn't do that, neither does smoking chronic as well as lower grades. I like to have schwag as well as chronic or hash because it's cheaper and because I can then smoke schwag for most of my daily sessions and chronic for 1 or 2. I find if I smoke chronic more then twice a day I'll start feeling burnt out after a while though.

Except in Texas mids seem really rare. Schwag is always around, usually 2 different qualities for 2 different prices. Dank too, I can generally get 3 quality levels of dank for 3 diff. prices.

Well let me make it clear im not arguing that beaster bud is in ANY way better then headies, i LOVE my headies but i have literally not bought anything but head's in the past 3 years because i refuse to smoke mids. Its he price that kills me....but i just happed to smoke some of the best headies ive ever had in my life, TAHOE OG KUSH....all i have to say is WOW where has this been all my life? Seeing i live so close to the city im used to getting alot of sours and alot of chemdawg for some reason and previous to this tahoe strain chemdawg was deffinatly my favorite.

I'm sure there's beaster somewhere in NYC or whatever city you live near if it's pretty big.

The type of weed you are referring to is called "BC (British Columbia) Gold". It is hydroponic and overcloned to the point of losing all aesthetics (pale green buds with orange hairs. It kind of tastes like hay) and builds tolerance very quickly. It is a money crop because it has high yields.

This is so close to a disguised "help me find a hookup thread" as it gets, and you clearly did not read the rules as a fellow moderator had to take the time to edit out every one of your price discussion rules.

Jackie, although this isn't the place to quiet respond, I think he is talking about the kind of bud that is between B Grade and C Grade weed, Beasters, KB, etc. Doesn't always have to be hydroponic at all, in fact I know several people who gorilla grow the stuff outdoors. Anyway this is off topic.

OP, while you brought up some fun discussion, it was not discussion that helped further your search for beasters. Sorry we could not help, but we are not here to score you drugs, which my spider sense is telling me this is a sneaky way of asking :) Even if not, it's not much of a thread, is it?
