Shambles is awesome, he's defo one of the coolest here, loved him massively in the pv threads, funny cool, helpful guy.

I hope he's been outdoors staring at the flowers like I have in the past week and nothing happened to him.
 
Shambdog, where are you? I'm defo not ur favorite guy so it won't mean much to you, but...I sincerely hope things are going well and look forward to reading your posts. I'm sure you'll have some good stories to tell upon your glorious return to BL, eh?

I must have dreamt that someone had contact with him? I swear I read a post on here yesterday from someone, a pure random, that Shambles had text him. I either read it when half drunk in the past couple or nights or dreamt it? :\
 
I miss him, that Brown note thread was a classic.

Feck I'd send him a PC with the pile of PC stuff I have laying around if thats all thats stopping him getting online, but I guess the offer is a littel pintless comming from the internet !

If he has heard the news about Evad etc, I'm a bit surprised he hasn;t come back on here for a bit. Methinks he's away from technology, or otherwise occupied.
 
You know how people get PV and go on a week long stim session, yeh? Well, that's not Shambles. Try multiplying that figure by about a hundred, he's probably in his bathtub with a tinfoil hat on smoking PV =D.
 
Kate, I couldn't find his address by the time I did I had other things to see to. I keep meaning to write. Life's been getting in the way. I'll try and post a letter tomorrow.

Last I knew he stopped using his mobile. He was having PC problems and I still can't reach him on his home phone. Which is not surprising as he NEVER has the bastard plugged in. I did have Mrs. Shambles mobile but the bastard number got lost when my mobile wiped.


Will let ya'll know if I hear anything.

I tried to call him not so long ago and just got his answerphone. This isn't unusual as getting a signal where he lives is not the easiest thing to achieve by any far stretch of the imagination. Those who have been there will know.

I've met him a few times and know where he lives, if people are worried I don't mind a road trip to pop around for a cup of tea with him to varify his well being? If someone on here who knows him better than me (Kate, Felix I'm thinking you guys here, there may be more) want to join me in seeing him that's cool. I don't know where abouts you live but can prity much guarantee that to get to his place you will have to go on a road which is about 15 minutes from my house. Only way you wouldn't is if you flew via helicopter to his rooftop!

Not sure if people think this is a good, bad, indifferent or terrible idea, opinions? Is it an invasion of his privacy or is it caring? He may be trying to distance himself I suppose, at the same time though, as much as I hate to even think this nevermind type or say aloud, something may have happened to him and some of us on here are his friends.

Does anyone know what friends / family he has close to him?
 
I very much doubt he'd find it an "Invasion of privacy" :) A lovely chap he is as you will know.
He'd be glad to know that peeps here be thinking of him.

If you have the time and inclination then I think everyone who knows him here would be grateful ;)
S'up to you though man :) I do hope he's ok. As long as he's ok then it's all good.
 
Yeh, he's a great bloke, really nice guy. I also agree with you and think he'd really like a visit. I asked the question in case anyone on BL knows anything before I head into my car and drive one hour and fourty-five minutes. There is a chance that he's not active because he's trying to get clean and cutting BL out to stop him thinking about drugs. I know this is a slim possibility but a possibility all the same. So if anyone does know a reason as to why I shouldn't go please tell me. A PM will remain discreet if is preferred confidential.

If I don't get any 'don't go' messages then I'll go in the next 2 - 3 weeks, I'll go as soon as my diary will allow me to. If any of you would like to come with my either reply in this thread or PM me.
 
Has anyone one tried sending him a letter with a SAE inside for the reply ? This might be less intrusive if he has some problems he'd rather not share.
 
I think this is the 2nd or 3rd time I have seen a thread on bl in regards to Shambles absence..
