Ok so if youre at all interested in psychedelic science you have probably noticed that both LSD and psilocybin have been recently used in medical studies on humans. It is the current belief that LSD and psilocybin possess the ability to improve psychological wellness in several ways. There are studies out saying that psilocybin may help improve ones overall personality and lift depression. Also they have found neurogenesis occurring in people under the influence of the sacred mushroom.
Further LSD has also been touted by both mainstream science and counter culturists to be useful. When it was first discovered LSD was used for problem solving and was also said to produce mystical experience much in the same , but not exactly like psilocybin.
My question is , where was mescaline during all this? Where is mescaline now? LSD and psilocybin are currently or recently being studied on humans medically. Why not mescaline? Mescaline has a more "spiritual" feel than LSD which can be described as more "cosmic" but its closely spiritual in effects to psilocybin but there seems to be no interest in studying it medically? Im willing to bet it has similar effects on well being that psilocybing possesses , possibly some unique effects not widely known in medicine. Just curious if anyone may have any info on this. Thanks.
