funny, but the funniest part here is that you KNOW there is some mom reading this and falling for all of it, running to the kitchen and scoping out all the spoons,

most spoons are bent, sometimes I eat overly frozen ice cream directly from the container (a definite sign of drug abuse) and the spoon gets all junked out.

Also, if you went to my moms house right now you would find many stained slightly bent spoons, she drinks coffee everyday and hasn't bought new silverware in 10 years.

You have to know some 16 year old kid is going to come home tonight to find all the spoons from the house on the bed with a note saying "we need to talk"

If you walk in your child's room and he/she is on their hands and knees on the floor trying to "pick" up something check their eyes and see if they are dilated, if they are -- suspect drugs.

If your parents suffer from paranoia, suspect a drug overdose and inject them with epinephrine directly into the heart.

As others said, this would be pretty humorous if a lot of parents didn't believe this shit, but this article just about matches the thought process of some paranoid stodgy religious right wing parent who harasses their kids mercilessly cause they'd rather make their kids miserable than actually stop being an intolerant frightened sheep their whole life, "If my child is not an unthinking bland copy of all the good little children at church, then they're doing it wrong! And god forbid if they're listening to that devil music metal or rap!". The whole article sounds far to similar to some sort of military document. Notice the whole article is about how to best violate your child's privacy and hunt down their drugs, and nowhere does it mention "Try having an open talk about your child's emotional state and possible drug use to try to pinpoint any current or future problems." but no way, that would require some tolerance, kindness and respect for their child, and that can't happen in a good religious household!
