It's sunny today!!! I've got beach on my mind. My fav for surfing, south of the Bridge, has to be Maroubra, and also the local people there are pretty laid back. Bondi is too busy, Coogee has a shitty shore break. Bronte isn't big enough for a decent surf. Otherwise, Bilgola is my fav on the Northern Beaches, although it's in a close run with North Narrabeen. Oh yeah, beach today! Woooo

I actually loathe the beach but.....when I was coming down from a roll back in my FL party days, sitting on Jax Beach at night listening to the waves gently break was as mesmerizing and soothing a time as I could ever hope to experience.

Something you cannot do in Cali because the beaches are too bloody cold I might add.

Don't forget the sunscreen!

any beach on the entire island of Kadavu... Fiji is awesome. If I could I would gladly live there the rest of my days. As far as northern beaches - Second Beach & Third Beach in Washington state are awesome totally different kind of scenery between them, but both well worth the trip in getting to them.

I live in Canada. The only way I could enter the ocean right now is in a thermal wet suit. heh
I feel ya. I've experienced the East coast of Canada, it wasn't conducive to surfing ;)
Trinidad State (Northern California). or Laguna (Socal).

I don't ever go swimming at trinidad though. Too cold.
Trinidad Beach looks like a place over here called Seal Rocks. Nice.

Fiji is beautiful, I have been there once. I also love some of the other islands in the Pacific Ocean! :)

It's a shame, I am from the Philippines but I have never been to Boracay beach resorts so I will try my best to visit back home in the next two years

Davis Bay Beach, St. Croix, USVI
Two amazing friends of mine got married on St. Croix.. Most of the Carambola was rented out for us all.. really good time. since the wedding included a cast that partied as hard as any Blue Lighter and kept their shit together the whole time we kinda got famous on that island and may be even talked about still. Watch out for the urchins if you hit the Carambola beach though.

I remember liking 7 mile in grand cayman alright.

EDIt: with all the places I have been I must be nuts to say seven mile.. how about FRASER ISLAND. Queensland, Australia

Cant miss with any of these:
Lord Howe Island, Australia
Phu Quoc Island, Vietnam
Agonda Beach, India
Palolem Beach , India ( Goa)
Nungwi, Zanzibar, Tanzania
Anse Soleil, Mahé, Seychelles ( frankly any where in the Seychelles)

^ Some nice looking beaches!

I went to Bronte today, it's hard to not like Bronte; it is quiet, pretty, a good place to have a BBQ or party, but the waves are generally dumping straight into a sand bank close to shore. For a good surf, you have to paddle way out back to get the best sets
