Howdy y'all! I'd like to give a big Texas welcome to you boys and girls. While this is my first post, I have followed your posts for several years. I recently did a few months for POS SC1 CS < G (namely heroin.) To keep it off my record I took the probation like an idiot. -here I use the term idiot to indicate I wasn't well informed to the matter leading to pour choices.

A little about me:
I'm in my mid 20s, living in Texas, I've been using since about 10. My top 3 DOCs are MDMA, benzos, and coke. My only drug charge came from me calling it quits with a 4x lethal OD and my gf finding me and calling the EMTs. The accompanying police were nice enough to charge me with possession (for trying to kill myself.) Eh. I should have picked a legal way to do it I guess. Live. Learn. Die.

What I'm looking to get out of this site:

I'd like to find ways to stay within the confines of my probation, but not completely give up my life style. Lately with my chronic back pain I've been looking into legal ways to treat pain. Nothing seems as effective as heroin (or even just hydros.) I'm currently trying to get back into pain management, but it's slow going.

Hi, Welcome aboard ! !

Great to have you here, and apologies for the delay. I also suffer from pain, spinal upper pain have had 2 surgeries. It took a long time for me to come off the opiates I used for it, and heroin for pain and coping with the pain. Now I use many IBP's as well as cannabis salves (topical), and otc remedies for pain from health food stores. They are never going to meet the relief like opiates did, but do satisfy on some levels diminishing the intensity of nerve and muscle pain (depending upon vitamins, foods I eat and so on).

Serotonin supplements can help too - which can be over the counter to some degree. At least for me. :) Tumeric, 5htp, certain magnesium supplements as well as herbal remedies.

I'm sure there are many others on here in similar situations. Here for starters is this --- > The Pain Management Mega Thread v. 7.

How are you now? And sorry for the delay. Smoky :)
