My thread just got closed for "advertising", but I'm really looking for some interaction I'm not just trying to post and leave. I mean really, how can a joke page about pills not be part of drug culture? I think at least a couple people on here would like it, not "Like" it, but genuinely. I was hoping to maybe meet a few people and see what we couldn't whip up. here's my original post...

Hello, I have a facebook meme page pretty much all about being involved in pills. Most would prolly consider the jokes to be offensive to users but honestly I try to be neutral to a degree, I'm not trying to promote drug use but I use jokes from users and non-users alike, basically relevancy is key. Anyway the whole joke is a play on our town's name of Chillicothe (CHIL-ə-KOTH-ee) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chillicothe,_Ohio which we call Pillicothe for reasons that shouldn't be too hard to figure out :P It's mostly a Foxworthy style joke, ya' just might be from Pillicothe, and the Y U NO GUY which is the "Pillicothe guy" for our intents and purposes and is also the meme that stated the joke, but I try to come up with as much new stuff as I can. I was hoping maybe I could find a few people here who might want to help me scrape up some new jokes or ideas, or just check the page out...so without further ado it's http://www.facebook.com/Pillicothe and a typical joke would be...

If you got to McDonalds, just to get a McStraw........then ya' just might be from Pillicothe ;/

That's fine I guess I just had the wrong idea about this site. Actually I'm surprised to see that the same joke has been made up here a couple times in different versions. No one seems to mind it there so I'll just drop the facebook page part and talk without mentioning it. It's really a shame as I don't see how it's so self servicing when I'm the one who puts in the work for others who enjoy it :/ All I was trying to do was lightly introduce the concept for understanding the idea.
 
It's self serving since no conversation can come from this thread, so you would end up posting across the forum to advertise your facebook page, and we don't allow that.
 
you could try posting a thread in NSASDD which is the regional forum for north america. but chillicothe is a rather small town, so you are unlikely to find much of an audience for your jokes even in the regional forum. as for BL as whole, we are an international community and are too diverse to all super specific location threads.

you are better off finding people who live in chillicothe via facebook or word of mouth amongst your friends.

not to mention, the link in your post doesn't even work.
 
Drugs and Facebook don't mix. I personally wouldn't dare involve myself in drug related Facebook pages, and I honestly recommend people not do so either. The things you post or involve yourself with on facebook basically becomes public, and I'd hope if you are a drug user, you'd be cautious with your Facebook use.
