Misc Where can I get syringes if I'm 16yo?

I'm sixteen years old and reside in California. I use hydromorphone recreationally via IV. It is hard for me to acquire new needles as I am under age and there is no NEP in my town. I can't drive anywhere either. SO I've been using the same needle for 30 injections, occasionally sharpening it and cleaning it. And to make matters worse, I'm awful at shooting, it can take me 5 pokes before i get a vein.
 
Wow. Man that's dangerous but if you're going to use them then I might as well say try to find people that are diabetic because they have NEW needles..
 
i suggest you stop shooting altogether until you find someone who can buy you clean, fresh unused needles. you are destroying your veins, try plugging instead until you can get some new needles.
 
Come on, now. You can do better than that. If you keep this up, you are going to destroy yourself and cheat yourself out of a real life. No one good is going to want to date a junkie. Get yourself clean before it is too late. You may not be ready yet, but remember what I just said. So, that said, until you are ready:

I'm not interested in dating. I feel no need for it, drugs are a lot better than sex. And dealing with a girlfriend isn't fun to me.
 
I was 14 when I first starting shootin and take it from me... it gets you no where... but if you are going to do it you need to find someone who is 18 to buy you clean needles. Using your needle like that can lead to a lot of diseases even if you aren't sharing it. Walmart is usually pretty good about letting people buy a bag of needles.... it's only a few dollars... Do you have any friends 18 or older?
 
Hero- this kind of addiction at 16 y/o is pretty much guaranteed to leave you with an awful life, very quickly. I'm sure every heroin addict on these boards would agree. Nothing good can come out of this habit, except a few good rushes, and sooner than you'll think you'll be IVing to just get "well" not high- and be spending every last penny doing so.

In the interest of harm reduction- you can buy syringes at many Cali Pharmacies without an ID check, also looking into needle exchanges.

But remember if opiates make your life easier now, they will soon make it way more difficult than it ever was. Save yourself the fucking hassle.
 
Okay guys, I just wanted answers to my question. I did not come here to be told to not do drugs at all. I know the risks associated with drug use. I have already decided on doing drugs.

If your parents don"t fuck with your mail, you could probs order them or have them sent to a friend.

You could also try asking any using friends to pick you up a pack - most people are willing to do so in exchange for a few sharps.

Yeah with preaching aside, in your state you can just purchase them at the pharmacy. Make sure you go in looking decent, not like a strung out junkie. Be confident and just ask them specifically for what you want. For instance , "Hello, I would like a pack of 31 guage 1/2cc syringes, with 5/8 inch tips."

Using a syringe 30 times in a row is going to DEESTROY your arms and veins so please please please try and get some fresh rigs.

When you come to a harm reduction forum, don't bitch when you get harm reduction advice... in this case it takes the form of people trying to spare you the harm of destroying your life before you finish puberty.

People have been suggesting ordering them from websites, is this feasible? If not, I don't know what you expect us to say...

The options are rather self-evident...

-put on your sunday best, slap on a bit of confidence and hit up some pharmacies
-get someone else to purchase them for you
-rob a diabetic (NOT serious)
-keep shooting with something as sharp as a spoon and see how many veins you can collapse by the time you can legally purchase lottery tickets.
 
I don't know much about iv use, but the fact that your cleaning and SHARPENING the same needle has got to be the most dangerous thing ever. Rail it, eat it, Plug it, but for fuck sakes stop banging it until you can get a fresh rig for each shot. Your just askin for something real bad to happen.
 
Yeah, you could even just take the tip off of that shitty needle and plug your hydromorphone. Probably the next best route of administration to IV.

Strongly agree with J. Find someone who is or knows a diabetic. I had a friend who could get me one every time. Plus I can't shoot so that same buddy would stick me too.

idk where youre at but in la county you can buy them at walgreens, some will card some wont.

and i know youre already in deep have you mind made up, but if theres one thing in life im thankful for its that i didnt get into opiates until my twenties. enjoy it while you can man because you WILL get fucked one way or another with this.

i cant believe it, but i feel the same when reading the OP. i thought i had it bad nearly sinking my life to the bottom of the outmost atlantic at 24 let alone 16. that is incredibly scary.

if i knew his mom i would tell her immediately.

i would also give the young'un a beating. no one uses the "beat" method of getting off drugs anymore. i wish my dad had punched me in the face when he found out [like i had expected] not pussy-hugging me :) well kind of joking...but not really. if i could see my "past self" id give him an anal probe with 40000 inch rig*.

* full of naloxone
 
i suggest because of the young age [at that age you have no real willpower; knowing this you should have known not to fuck with narcotics!] at least two years in an inpatient facility. im seriously not kidding. harm reduction my fucking ass. lock him up. if i relapse again i would want the same done to me :)

my parents kicked me out in the middle of a brutal storm [i live in canada too!] in deepest winter for fucking up only a 2nd time. looking back on it, i compltely applaud them. then you learn a warm bed and a house with no roaches and diseased crackheads in it is better than dope by far especially with the cold scraping your ass bare.

do you want cold or warmth? and the loaded, toxic vampire slut-demon warmth of opiates is a false warmth it rips your skin off your body, your personality from your mind, your soul from your anus, rips your virility from your testes it takes everything then they come for your decrepit body to shovel it into the much more important vein called The Eternal.

STOP SHOOTING/USING OPIATES!!!!!!! You're 16? Can I shoot the person who introduced you to shooting drugs? Take it from me. Shooting drugs will just land you in jail or worse. I'm 33 years old and just got my shit together in April. Please find treatment while you're still young and your body can rebound from the damage you're doing to it. As you get older it will just be harder to stop. I'm sure you think it's just a fun game right now, but god, man, you have your whole life ahead of you! Don't waste it like I did.
