where can i buy stackable casings for my variety of shrooms?

Are these even for sale online? I'm looking for stackable casing, where I can grow my shrooms onto. I have 5 different "breeds" of psilocybin so I guess I'd need 5 casings that can be stacked after the shrooms have bloomed. Anyone know?

I take it this is your first time cultivating, you seem to be a bit confused about what casing is.

Are you doing the pftek or bulk substrate? it sounds like you're doing bulk.

Now why exactly are you wanting to stack casing? Casing is something you put on top of fully colonized substrate in order to trigger pinning (beginning formation of the fruiting body). The mycelium colonizes the casing and then fruits. I don't know why you'd stack your cultures though, you could put them all in the same fruiting chamber but stacking them would interfere with fruiting.


Let me know if this helps, as I'm not sure I fully understood what you're trying to do, and in the meantime check the shroomery (a website) for some good guides.

i think he is refering to stackable tupawear bins... not quite sure though. if you are referring to this, then look into getting yourself a shelf. if i am wrong then so be it, i am an idiot.

Could you please stop posting a new thread every day or so, about your grow? Actually we have a mushrooms cultivation subthread if only you would use the advanced search function or check the Big & Dandy Mushrooms thread in the Psychedelic Index and look for the subthread list in its OP.t plastic boxes / jars that have filter lids which saves you some work.

Are you even reading my posts? Please get a grip, refer to the cultivation thread or expect to have your posts/threads moderated into a more neat concentrated place.

I do have understanding for you growing for the first time (hence my replies) but you are not the first person to grow and a lot of these answers are out there, so start using google and if you still have questions USE this thread:

I usually just use the old dunk and roll for my "casing" with pf-tek cakes.

well forget the stackable part, just casing. I don't want bath tub size casing, just a shoebox type of casing. I guess what I wanted to do was stack 5 of my different psilocybin types once it has fruited. Would the fruit die if i leave it "unpicked"? Would it rot?

No problem that you had not found it yet, I totally get that people are not aware of every single subthread that exists of our Big & Dandy threads. But, there are ways to find out and you should read the Beginners FAQ to see what I mean, it can be very helpful. Especially since half of the number of posts you have made are new created threads.

Good luck with appropriating this site and the cultivation thread we have, as well as checking the website The Shroomery for more aid to your growing needs, more than we can offer here I have to way with honesty: they are specialized. Hopefully those guys there refer to us for questions about RCs lol.
