Getting to the point ...
Given this is a special time and we expect to see a lot of old friends, here's a chance to ask about some of your friends and see where they are these days while sharing how you're doing for those inquiring minds wondering where you got off to!

Lost a lot of good people over the years here (rip dextermeth). As for me, just finishing up my undergrad after a nice drug fueled hiatus a while ago, working towards bodybuilding and professional goals.

My life is drastically different these days. I went from telecommunciations to medical fields after mom had her stroke (took care of her for 2 years), hopped around a bit more all over this beautiful country (the last few states have been West Virginia, Pennsylvania, Texas and Nevada), but ended up right back at home, the great state of Texas. May not stay for much longer, but we've (me and the kid, my offspring lives with me now) been here for almost 3 years now, and that's a record for me.
It's been a long and lonely road, but a fun ride none-the-less.

I've been working at Panera for almost a year and am most likely getting an apartment with my family's help around February, so there's that.

I went on walkabout for roughly seven years, but have been back on site for the last year or so. When I joined BL I was a few years out of college, working my first 'professional' job back in Florida and living single. Since then, I've spent time in Ohio and now going on a decade in Pennsylvania. Professionally, my jobs are meh but firewalled BL (big part of the 7y absence) still. On the personal side, I don't share things publicly about my personal life - if you know me personally, you know my situation. I will say, I don't think I could be happier at home - hope to stay here in PA with who I'm with until the end of days. I'm still in touch with a few of the old skool folks, but miss meeting up with my friends. Maybe I need to get out more and visit those old friends....maybe I need more new friends.

I have thought for bout 3yrs before I want but I said fuck it. Anyway I bought a bar from Norway, I think it should be a good investment, I can use the place for a lot of things, you know. I bought new furniture for my third kid, it's a girl, can you belive? I have two girls and one boy, haha. I love their eyes, I look at them.. and I miss being a child, running around unconsciously about everything. My girls, one's minor one's major, one's in collegue and the other one's going to primary school. As for my boy, he dropped out of collegue, as you can guess another ''rebel'' as Shady was, haha but I love him, I gave him some opportunities for jobs but he doesn't want because he's street smart and one on another isn't a job on paper you know, you work off the books, black and eats bout 3hrs of your day, nothing unusual. There's go that.

As for me, nothin big? I am working on some productions ( techno ), I finished some demos, my friend works as bookin manager for Dial Records and I think I will release some stuff this year, hopefully, I still struggle because I used to have my own sound and the way that I make techno, it's not just bum bum it's 4/4 and moody.

I'm sure this applies to a bunch of us.

/me waves

Anyway, I've been up and down. Got married, raised some stepkids, stopped being married, and am now living the life of a broken-down burnout, laughing forever at the looming abyss.

Not much different than when I joined, actually, just with a whole lot more back pain.

Well I will definitely be here forever. I went walkabout for 3 years and forgot all about bluelight.
Never again.
Bluelight is my best friend and bluelighters are my family.

Anyway I bought a bar from Norway
Good thinking.
