Where are the firearms at?

So do you only care about the second amendment being upheld then? The rest of the constitution doesn't matter?

You apparently have the guns to uphold all of the constitution, not just the part that says you can have guns. You are not doing that.


Edit - I think I have just realised your viewpoint here. You see it as - The constitution says we should have guns, I have a gun in the cupboard, therefore I am upholding the constitution. Is that correct?
 
Regarding firearms in the UK - I used to have various guns but now just own air guns :(
I had 2500acres of sole shooting rights before I moved away! I used to own
.22 anchutz 1451 + silencer
.17hmr CZ w/16" barrel + silencer
.223 Tikka (t3) + silencer
.22-250 howa + silencer
And a crappy 5 shot semi-auto Mossberg A1 12 bore
I managed everything from rats to deer.
Was planning to buy an AK47 in 7.62 but didn't bother in the end. I think we have some of the best firearms regulations going!
Shotgun Certs are pretty easy to obtain seeing as they are a very weak weapon
But for rifles even rim fires there is a lot of work to go through and it makes sense, you need to PROVE why you need a firearm and need to prove your using it too by buying bullets regularly.
Shotguns on the other hand are an entitlement. So you can buy them just cuz you like the look of them!
 
^ nice on the t3. i had to say tho a shotgun esp 12ga isnt a weak weapon. i might be a little dear to them since its the first gun i ever shot, and being as young as i was i had a shoulder bruise for a few days after. at range youre not going to be able to do much unless with a rifled barrell and a slug, so hunting, but close quarters a 12ga with 00 buck shot will decimate just about anything. gotta love the sound of that being racked/charged too, very recognizable.
 
I'm banging on about gun control but I'm a massive hypocrite tbh. If I could get my hands on something like this, without fear of lots of years in jail, I'd be right on it.

hell yeah, 1911's are such great guns. i didnt know you guys had access to 45acp like that in the uk. 45 is my fav pistol round, its naturally subsonic so its great to supress, plus it has imense knock down power, add in a jacketed hollow point, preferebly bonded to the core so it doesnt seperate, and you have a real man stopper. some ppl like to complain that they only hold 8 rounds, but if you cant defeat your threat with 8 of those monster rounds, you better hope you can fight your way to your machine gun nest.

and the tech 9 above it is def on everyones "scary looking" guns list. shrounded heat shield, huge magazine, threaded barrell...in reality those guns cant hit shit for shit lol. if you have that thing in full auto its a classic spray and pray weapon. good for spitting a bunch of lead, not great for effectively taking down ppl permanently, small space your odds would increase. waving that thing around would def scare the shit out of ppl.

I'm going to guess your American? In the UK the law is quite different with shotguns. In the UK a shotgun can't shoot slugs, or buck shot, or have a rifled barrel amongst other things. Also American guns tend to be chambered much bigger the average here being 2 1/2 - 2 3/4". The most common shot size here is 6 or 7 most people don't go bigger unless shooting hares and even then no.4 is about the biggest used, and most cartridges are 28g loads. I used to shoot 3" magnum 50g no.4's when I was feeling rich though!
The energy retained in say no.6 shot at 40 yards is around 1ftlb!
A guy went on a rampage a couple of years ago (raoul moat) and blasted a cop point blank in the head twice and he survived! Was blind and later topped himself, but even catching a .22lr in the swede and your brown bread!
 
oh wow, i didnt know that about shotguns in the uk.

true about the 22. some old timer shot and killed 2 intruders armed with i think 38 specials or 9mm. those little rounds will bounce around inside of you...hah, brown bread.

And you would look like a dick head with a tec 9. Those are made for idiot street thugs and no one else. I did want one when I was a child though and that is what I liken your gun desires to.

Owning guns upholds the constitution which is what allows people to own guns. Sounds kinda circular to me.

The reason many of us want to know what would get you guys to rebel is that it looks like you've been getting mugged off as a nation for a long fucking time. You just can't see it because you believe that this could never happen to an armed populace. Don't get me wrong, I don't believe we're much better off in the uk, however atleast I can see that we're fucked and that our government are a bunch of lying cunts. And I definitely don't believe that nationwide gun ownership would suddenly inject honesty and integrity into the powers that be.
