I don't know anyone in my entire town that's into AVB. And everyone I do know lives like 1000 miles away.

WTF is wrong with the world? AVB is the one of the best DJ's on the planet... wayyy better than Tiesto and Ferry Corsten.

Here are some of his most famous tracks.

Armin van Buuren feat. Nadia Ali - Feels So Good (Tristan Garner Remix)

Armin van Buuren - Birth Of An Angel

Am I the only one who notices the lack of AVB fans? 8o

I am a fan of Armin and have been since 07. Recently saw him live last year for the 3rd time and was a bit let down. Focusing on a state of trance too much and didnt include many of his own songs in his set which sucked. I do like his back album catalogue but wasnt too impressed at his latest armin only mirage....imho armin only imagine was the best and have watched it numerous times sober and high. Either way i hope his next album isnt so poppy...if you like Armin check out Dash Berlin :D

About 4 days ago they had the ASOT 550 live from London. I listened to it for 4 hours before I had to go to bed. When they started playing "PPK - Resurrection", that was an epic moment.

I do agree with you though. He does seem lately to spend all his time on ASOT. I wish he would come to Atlanta though. Why do none of the big dj's ever come to Atlanta? It competes with New York City and LA ffs.

He is playing at my local nightclub at the end of Spring. Should be a good night. I'm not overly familiar with his work however.

I am going to ASOT 550 in Miami which is going to be part of Ultra Music Festival this year. I am looking forward to Armin and Dash Berlin's sets.

I saw Armin in Atlanta back in 2008 at Opera. I do feel your sentiment though, EDM scene in ATL is lacking. Opera is actually getting Markus Schulz, Oakenfold and Martin Solveig within next month or two, should check it out.

I'm a regular dl'er of his podcast. He may not be the best DJ but goddamn his track selection and his labels and the producers and basically everything ...TRANCE IN YOUR PANTS !!! :P

For that sound Armin knows what I like.

Indeed..

His sets were not bad for asot 550 so far, i think the last show in the netherlands will be epic!! I really wish he would debut the song 4 elements that would blow my mind. Either way Dash's Moscow and Miami sets rock!!!!!

yea dash is really good... hes coming up right now... i still think AVB is pretty amazing though... and i feel the same as you... here in chicago trance used to be a pretty big deal (because of the large eastern european population) but lately it seems like everyone is exclusively into house..

fortunately may is going to be a good month... gonna see AVB and Above&Beyond/Cosmic Gate/Mat Zo... that will help get my trance fix for a bit...
