Can't find anything on google trying to find info on two types of morphine.
When was MSContin made and released to the public?
and how does the time release work does it release so much instant first or slowly throughout the day.

the same question goes for ZOMorph., Also why do doctors prescribe zomorph first rather than mscontin?

Commercial production begain in 1827, in Germany.

Sustained release, or extended release, releases half of the pills dose immediately, then the other half over the course of multiple hours. This duration varies between pill to pill.

Which two types of morphine? Morphine Sulfate/HCl or Morphine ir/er?

Both Zomorph and mscontin are er, so there really isn't a difference between them medically or kinetically. Sometimes a doc will read in journal of the American medical association, that an inactive ingredient is causing adverse effects in certain patients, and decide to go with an alternative to avoid problems.. but Most of the time it boils down to which pharm company is treating the doctor the best lol.
