When to drink beer to potentiate a benzo?

I know its bad for you but im taking such a low dose and ive done this b4 without any bad reactions

So I was wondering, do i take my xanax and drink a beer with it to potentiate it or do i wait 45 mnnutes and then start drinking, or do i drink aftrt and hour or so goes by when it kicks in?

If you know it's bad for you then it would be wise not to do it. Mixing depressants can be fatal.



If you insist on doing it, take the alprazolam first, wait 90 minutes then start drinking. Don't consume the alcohol all at once, titrate your drinking in sips at every 20-30 minute intervals. If you feel yourself getting drowsy or losing coordination at any point then stop drinking.

Pretty much what Chromo said, I just want to point out to NEVER take benzos if you are already drunk - unless you like jail or the morgue.

This combination is deadly and accounts for many overdoses and deaths around the globe annually. I strongly suggest that you do not drink alcohol while taking benzodiazepenes as they are both very potent CNS depressants.

If you have dosed this tonight, I strongly urge and suggest you head to the ER as soon as possible. You are at a high chance of falling into respiratory depression and then death.
