No, as long as it gets into your body it is all the same, I would worry about technique more than which nostril....switch between each nostril between each line, make thin shorter lines, and use a longer tube. Insert it towards the opening of your nostril, but don't shove it way back there. Coat your nostrils with powder, don't try and snort it so hard so that it goes to your throat.
Or use the spray technique mentioned above if you have the time and patience to do such a thing, it will improve absorption, although with substances like cocaine,it will probably damage your nose all the same.

I don't blow things all too often, but I was taught to snort half of each line out of each nostril -- to switch mid-line. I've never had any issues, and this was told to me by some serious coke heads and I've taken their word for it.

Repetitive use of cocaine will still eventually lead to a deviated septum if you do it too much/too often/too compulsively.

he means take apart a pen and use the casing of the pen thats a good tube go to slow so it coats your nostrils and dont got to fast where it hits your throat.

you want the tube to be a lil wide and a lil long because if its too short its harder to snort and it just goes back to your lungs, if its not wide enough the same thing happens thats why the pen tube is perfect not to small not to big not to skinny not too wide. its perfect.
