My post was neither arrogant or meant to be satire. As a 6'5 male that trained in judo, sambo, aikido and jujitsu I am well prepared to deal with someone attacking me with bladed weapons, and dispatching the danger without coming to blows. Instead joint manipulation, and pain compliance techniques are much more effective and do not result in anything more than momentary pain unless the subject in question has an odd with to have their limbs separated from their joints.
Again, considering the fact that I've been in knife fights with grown men, and I hebte training to immobilize a violent threat, why would I be so filled with fear that I had to strike a woman hard enough to incapacitate her?
That sounds impressive, to be sure. However, I'm fairly certain that, somewhere in this world, there exists a woman who could do a lot of damage to you with a knife. Unless you're Superman.
Are you really that sensitive or naive to think that a grown man like 1KW has never met a woman that stood any physical threat to him? Or maybe you aren't into fitness and are slight of build.... I myself could never see myself being afraid of a woman, even if knives, bludgeoning instruments, or any other non-firearm weapon was involved.
There is absolutely no need to strike a woman, in the case of a violent outburst small joint manipulation, pain compliance techniques and joint locks will always be sufficient to neutralize the situation with causing lasting physical harm.
I'm guessing that "never" was supposed to be "ever".
A woman could do a lot of damage to a man if she was willing to and he was too handicapped by his "morals" to properly fight back. Hell, she might be able to do a lot of damage anyway--strength isn't the only factor worth considering a fight, which I'm assuming you're well aware of. Most of them are weaker than we are, but that doesn't make them harmless. To suggest or imply that they are is both sexist and arrogant.

If she picks up a knife, hammer, axe, or other melee weapon, she now has the ability to kill or severely injure him with a single, well-placed blow. At that point, there may well be a need to strike her. There may be a need to kill her. The moment someone picks up a weapon of any great power, it stops being just a fight and starts being combat. Anyone willing to kill can be dangerous.
Also, if you're really that great of a fighter, don't try to use yourself as an example. You are unusual. You learn techniques that most people do not.
