When I thought we were in love...

I wrote this last yr, during a crapy relationship.

There is a distant torn memory in
the muscle of my heart...

It's a scorned heart filled moment,
full of nothing but devotion.
Whispering words...
out of site,
out of mind,

he says...

Is that true..can I make myself
believe that?

Here is where we find out that
the morning crest and the nights
are far from dawn. Anything that
we thought was fantasy's creation
in our own night time beds. When,
you and me tried make each other
be as good as we wanted to see.

Or was it that we were both just
in need, of this certain affection,
love, blindly.. because we weren't.

Was it that we were afraid to be alone?
Even though it was never shown. And here
we blew away all time.

I think that I spent more time crying,
then I did smiling...And I just kept
walking around this world slowing dying
inside. I knew how I wanted it to be..
but I knew that you were not the one...
The one for me..

It didn't leave me with much to hold on
to you. You didn't even want to share
these kind of emotions with me..

Maybe a life so sweet, soft, and innocent,
....perfect. A life in love, could it
be this revolving myth?

We see love,
want to be in love,
pretend love,
end love,
we cry about love,
we die in love...

But do we ever really feel love..
what are those terms in agreement
of one's never to be found soul mate..
