Okay so ive been using heroin and today couldnt get anything so i took like 2-3mg subutex at 3pm. I dont have a build-up of bupe in my system. Sure enough 2 hours later i pick up 25 and waste 15 of it trying to get high. Now in the past i have been able to get high like 9 hrs after a dose of sub just fine. But my tolerance has gone up since then. Its now been 9 hrs since my sub dose but i wanna wait until morning and i think ill be good. Any suggestions? Experiences? Remember i dont take subs regularly.

Even though you don't have a build up of bupe in your system, and you already wasted some of your shit, I would give it closer to 24 hours, just to be on the safe side. If I dose subs one day, I usually try to wait at LEAST 24 hours before I dose anything else. Otherwise, some of it's getting wasted.

I hear this all the time but its never taken me that long. AT MOST id wait 18 hrs and still get really high. Usually 12 hrs does just fine. Guess im just different. I can feel withdrawals even 10 hrs after a dose of sub

I'm sorry if I sound rude but there is absolutely no way in hell you are withdrawing just 10 hours after dosing buprenorphine. Buprenorphine has a rather long half-life.. 24hrs after dosing you still have about 50% of the drug in your system, meaning if you take 4mg the next day you will still have 2mg left over, then 1mg and so on.. I find dosing opiates without waiting AT LEAST 48hrs is a complete and utter waste. After 48hrs I can feel 60-70% of my typical effects, after 72hrs its closer to 80-90% of the effects. So, keep in mind, even if you aren't feeling the buprenorphine it is still active for far longer than you think..

At such low dosages, the blocking effect is severely reduced. 2-3mg's will still block some of your high, but nowhere near as much as 8mg's and above will. 1mg and less, you can basically shoot up right away because it doesn't block anything anymore. That being said, people's metabolisms are still different...so while some break down chemicals very slowly, others break them down very quick. I had friends who wouldn't go into withdrawal form heroin for a good 15-24 hours after their last shot. Myself, it was more like 6-12 hours. So with the bupe, I could dose and 12 hours later, be able to get high again depending on how much bupe I took and the blocking effect at that level. But 2mg's, by the next day you'll only be on 1mg of bupe. It's not going to block much.

I agree 24 hours is good to wait if u don't wanna waste ur shit. . U could shoot thru it but it'll cost a bundle. And 2-3 mg is def not nothing. I rarely take more than that of bupe (I never go for a blockade at high doses I just get well off it since that shit is pure gold and I don't like to waste it. Save the rest!
