ok so I was getting scripted 90 .5mg klonopins, I had a refill on the bottle and got it filled on the morning of December 3rd and later in the afternoon I went and saw my psyc who write me a script like usual except this time he upped my dose to 120 .5mg...so now I need to know, do I need to wait until a months goes by from the 3rd when I filled the 90 count script or since he upped my dose so can I take 4 a day as opposed to the original 3 a day which will in turn have my current 90 count script run out in roughly 22 days, after that 22 day can I then fill the 120 count script or do I have to wait the full month and only take 3 a day to make my current script last a full month,
or since he upped my dose is there any way I could fill the new 120 .5mg script that he wrote for me on the 3rd any earlier? because the 90 never lasts a full month for me as it is hence why he increased it

so the main question is when can I fill the 120 .5mg script he wrote on dec 3rd if I just refilled my 90 .5mg early that same day b4 I saw him

im kicking myself wishing I had just waited till I saw him to fill it so I coulda just got the 120 to begin with but thanks in advanced the info is greatly appreciated

im in Connecticut...but I figured with this hole perscriction monitoring system they been using itd raise red flagg but would I be straight if I just take it to another like mom and pop pharmacy and pay cash obviously

If it's anything like Florida you could just go to a different pharmacy than your other script is at

But you first need to go to a doctor to be able to get your first script. Then you can use it to refill.
It was like that when I was in SB.

I'm sure it's different from state to state, but since it's the same strength, just upped the times you can take it per day, where I am from the pharmacy/insurance company or whoever is acting as the pill police are going to make you wait until that 22 day mark you are talking about, because you can just take those until you run out, on your new dosing schedule. Worst case scenario is they will make you wait the whole month, or probably you could get it filled 25-27 days into your old script, most pharmacies and insurance companies will let you fill any script 3-5 days before it runs dry. More so if your run out date is on a weekend. Just my personal experience talking. My advice? I would try and not take the increased dosage EVERY day, so that when you go to try and fill it on day 22ish, if they deny it for a few days, you won't be completely out.

This is not relevant to OD and discussion is already headed toward ways to exploit the system. OP, I suggest you ask your doctor or pharmacy.
