So yeah, Most people i know have come to this in regards to marijuana.

I used to be a daily smoker (usually all day)from the ages of 18-23 but in the last 2-3 years we don't get along so well. I thinks its a combination of a few reasons.
- Social anxiety and paranoia got worse
-lost its magic after i started to abusing e
-Im starting to get old i think and an everyday bong over is just annoying
-often triggers bad feelings of bad comedowns ect..
-fucks my throat.,,way more than cigs
-now that i dont smoke all the time when i do i notice the lack of drive ect.. for the few days.

So yeah, do tell.....

after i got addicted to it and started smoking it all day every day for 2 years. eventually all it did was make me have a panic attack every time i smoked.

This thread has been done to some degree... its called, "Why do you hate pot?" r some shit like that... I'm going to leave it to the other two mods here to figure out what to do with it I'm busy working on a larger project...

Please use the search function next time you post in Drug Culture....

Several of the points on the first post would be removed with a vaporizer.

I got tired of smoking pot 3.5 years ago, but I've still used it daily (with the occasional day off) since then.

I lost interest in using it on it's own when I was using H daily, only liked to vape when I was already tiny-pupiled. Once I stopped using H, it warmly welcomed me back. :)

I found that over using herb will cause allot of the symptoms in the OP.

So with moderate use, and a generally all around healthier lifestyle, I can now 100% enjoy the times I choose to smoke.

As with everything, moderation is key.

only while I was addicted to opiates heavily did I lose my interest in pot, and it was only because I was only willing to spend money on one drug.

now that I'm clean from oxy and dope I love weed all over again. only thing is I can't seem to smoke it without falling asleep if its past 6:30 or 7:00 PM... but I think that has more to do with working hard all day and then getting nice and baked than just with getting baked...

Smoking made me more tired and it made me have a comedown producing a noticeable 'shot' feeling.

With a vaporizer, the high is cleaner and more clear. It doesn't have nearly as much of a comedown, more like a fade back to normal, so it doesn't leave you feeling as tired. Since it's usually more of an energetic high, it's easier to motivate yourself to do things.

Plus, there's the better taste, no smokers cough, and it doesn't burn through your supply as quickly.

Meh, I guess when I hear these kinds of negative things about pot, I just want to point out that it could be different, it depends on how it's being consumed. Sort of like how those guys who IV H, talk about how much better it is than snorting. Vaping is more efficient (and much better, imo) than smoking.

the exact thing happened to me. thats how i just burned out weed totally

I started smoking alot less when the buzz wouldnt last half as long and id just end up eating everything in site.. Thats what it done to me anyway.

I was selling about a pound a day of KB in 20 bags to halves, and half the people I sold to would smoke me up. It ended up being alot of smoked marijuana in a short period of time, and eventually I hated it.

I continued smoking when I probably should've taken a break because I was doing it to attract customers. I imagine if I wasn't selling and there wasn't such a strong economic force making me smoke, I may not despise it as much as I do today.

I also have an extremely short attention span and lose interest in things very quickly - can't even listen to a CD twice - so that also may have something to do with it.

Oh and this was when I was like 15 or something. Real long time ago. I hate marijuana now and try not to associate with the pothead scene (although a few friends of mine smoke quite a bit, they don't engage in the scene). Just the crime scene in general I try to stay away from.

Pot got old but I found that attempting to quit it quickly spun me out into an emotional wasteland, and even that small break restored the novelty factor. I don't know whether to be glad about that or not ... :\

I've smoked out of all kinds of Vaporizors and they didn't alter the shitty effects Pot gives me. Cannabis is one of the shittiest common illicit drugs out there IMO.
