I thougtht this was for harm reduction and educational purposes. As long as nobody is sourcing it shouldn't matter what people say in here as long as it is constructive and not destructive. I have read some great posts and wanted to respond, but they were closed. The thing is that the posts in question are recent posts..i.e. it would say today meaning the present day, and be closed after a couple resonses. I think the mods are scared that the government is monitoring this site to closely, and are in fear of it being shut down. What ever happened to our constitutional rights. As long as we are not breaking any laws there shouldn't be a dispute as to what we talk about in here. The government has gone beyond their limitations, and now it is time to let them know we run this country not them...meaning we vote them into office, and we can vote them out.

The mods are doing their job. If you ever see a closed thread that you feel should not have been closed, mods are all more then willing to hear you out. Just send them a private message next time. It is rare that mods abuse their power. They are here to keep order and enforce the rules - which are not hard to follow I might add. Also, bluelight is not a democracy. As a member, you do not have "constitutional rights." The crew make the rules.

Unfortunately, drugs are still illegal - whether or not the government has gone beyond their limitations does not change that fact. Vote whatever way you like, it's still the government that runs the country, not us. Certain precautions are necessary to keep bluelight out of trouble. Unlike the majority of drug oriented websites, bluelight holds itself and it's members to higher standards.

Many posts are being deleted due to the site prune going on. We save any worthwhile posts that bluelighters feel need saving. It is all in an effort to make the site runs smoothly and to trim out the extra fat. The admins/smods do an excellent job making a site with touchy subject matter(yes even in the year of the lord 2010) run efficiently.

Wow. If I didnt know better I would believe you were TLB in disguise....lol.

Great answer.

To expand further, I dont know what country the OP is from but this site is an international site so your government has nothing to do with it.

Bluelight has a set of rules in place designed to protect both you and ourselves from law enforcement problems and also each forum has specific rules which are all in place for very good reasons.

I would appreciate if you could provide links to any threads you feel are closed in error so we can either reopen them or explain why they were closed.

Cheers.

I was PM'd on this issue a while back after I had closed a few threads - the threads that I had closed down had nothing contructive mentioned and were more suited as blogs. If a post is formed and presented as a question, has no dangerous/destructive comments/suggestions etc then normally the thread runs.

If however its just somebody talking about how many pills they took, what substances when mixed give a great high etc then I would close them down as it really isn't helping anyone.

We all have a different view on the subject though and as Mazdan says, let us know which thread has been closed that you think should be open.

Tbh i wish they would close more of them, the blog type, and useless repeditive common sense questions that repeat so much.

Sometimes it can be really frustrating when the same question is repeated two or three times per page.

Dosage / how to take / why it didnt work for me are normally asked a few times per day :D

I've never understood people who would rather take the time to post up a question, than just google it. Your talking a few minutes vs a few seconds here..

I understand why people ask - mainly they will get a lot of upto date answers from people who (usually) have some knowledge on the subject. Its also easier to word your question to fellow e users/rollers than trying to be specific on google.

Example

Im fkd and think my cat is secretly a ninja - what should I do?

Google comes up with something about go karting on weed?

We would all say just calm down, try getting some benzos, stop using the drugs etc 8o

<<-- hahaha socalthizzn, that's one of my favorite guilty pleasure pop songs ;)

I think because we are here to discuss illegal drugs, there's sometimes an assumption that all topics must be OK- in reality, you have to realize the internet is fully public, and law enforcement can and do go through websites like this to get information. In general, I think if you type out your posts as though it will be read by law enforcement, you're playing it safe. That's why event names are a big no-no, that's why it's a good idea to be private about your identity within reason, and that's why advice on how to break the law (buying, hiding MDMA etc.) are not allowed.
