Whats your pro getn lit song?

All the music I play when smoking tend not to reference smoking...

Lately two of my favorites to toke to (by the same artist, coincidentally) are:

K'naan - People Like Me (Sample Verse + Hook, Live Acoustic) (the original is way better but I can't ever fault K'naan when it comes to music-- politics, absolutely... but not music)

Weed music, though? I'd have to say..... uhhhhhh..... everything except the interludes off of Swishahouse's Somethin' to Smoke 2 2k9. Favorite off of that would probably be Ghetto Youths Rock chopped, but weed music? Hmmm... off of that tape it'd be 25 Lighters, chopped (but the original's nothin' to sleep on either) by Z-Ro:

depends on if im smoking solo or in a group

if its a group I'd rather have something not obnoxiously loud and just ambiently playing in the background so you can hear what the other people are saying and not just sit there in silence listening to Kottonmouth Kings like I've seen a lot of kids do.

if its by myself, well more or less whatever I am feeling at that point in time. I guess it may seem like I only listen to rap music but that's actually not true. I just don't listen to enough of anything else to feel like anything I would link would be something everyone hasn't heard to death already.

as of right now, this moment in time, the last song I listened to while smoking weed:

Artifacts - It's Getting Hot (K-Def Remix)

and even though I appreciate Pete Rock's whole body of work more, K-Def got the better of that sample

that Artifacts remix is possibly the best thing to come out of New Jersey tbh

Between a rock & hard place is probably better top-to-bottom but I only really kept about 2 or 3 songs from it. Collaboration of Mics on Thats Them is a good song, but I wasnt a huge fan of much else on there

its not a group I really have too many songs by honestly, I just like some of the production they get behind

That explains the two albums then. I'll give the songs you've listed in this thread a listen, I'm always open rap/hip-hop that I've never heard before. The Artifacts sound familiar but, really, it'd be hard not to with that kind of group name.
