What's your least favorite benzo? (merged)

1. Clobazam
2. Chlordiazepoxide
3. Prazepam
4. Oxazepam

These are not recreational, not even useful therapeutically (there are better alternatives)

But they're still benzos, so you can still have fun with them.

And I have a question to those who find Xanax or Lorazepam the worse benzo:
What other benzos have you tried?

Alprazolam is the worst, no doubt.

I'm surprised a lot of people hate chlordiazepoxide (librium). While it is definitely not good, I don't find it particularly bad either. Its on par with Lorazepam.

Jason, I have tried Nitrazepam, Diazepam, Lorazepam, Bromazepam, Clonazepam, Chlordiazepoxide, Triazolam, Midazolam, and of corse, Alprazolam. I hate it because I find it very stupefying and it reminds me a lot of Phenobarbital, actually.

Yeah, Xanax is pure bullshit by far, when i first started on it back in the day it was fun, now it doesn't work like it used to, and i hardly take benzo's anymore, it only last like an hour these days, plus it just makes me feel stupid, i had to take 4 of the 2mg bars to get to sleep a couple weeks ago, and i still woke up at like 4 in the morning, so i ate another one and i went back to sleep.

Xanax for the lose.

lol the stupefying affects of xanax are what make it fun.

Out of Rohypnol, Dormicum, Rivotril, Xanax, Valium, Seresta, Temesta, Normison, Frisium, Mogadon, Lexotan, Halcion and Loramet:

Temesta, it makes me half-delirious.
Seresta, it just doesn't do shit to me.
Valium, it makes me sleepy, doesn't do shit either, and is way too long acting.

...Alprazolam also has antidepressant properties to it and it is the only benzo that has antidepressant properties in it. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alprazolam...

But it doesn't say so in that wikipedia article. And I haven't heard that it is antidepressant. Dikaliumchlorazepat (Tranxene, Tranxilene) is the ultimate shit. It is absolutely useless. And chlordiazepoxid (Librium) is rater boring. The best benzo is flunitrazepam (Rohypnol), but i am surprised that so many detest alprazolam and lorazepam.

yeah it does, it says "There is some evidence for antidepressant treatment of major depression in out patient settings, evidence for inpatients is lacking;[2] other benzodiazepines are not known to have antidepressant activity."

I'm going to merge his thread with the other one..

MERGED

For me it is lorazepam. While lorazepam does work good for anxiety it just doesn't give me any sort of a recreational experience.

I have tried valium, xanax, nitrazepam, clonazepam, flunitrazepam, oxazepam, temazepam, triazolam and lorazepam.

The ones i liked the best were valium, xanax and nitrazepam. Clonazepam and flunitrazepam are fun but the amnesia takes away much of the benefit IMO.

Oxazepam was alright, kinda weak but has potential. Triazolam is good but so short lasting it was just a bit frustrating, wears off as soon as you got a decent hit from it.

Temazepam i found makes you very groggy and fuzzy headed and i didn't like it when i took it by itself, but subsequently found that it mixes excellently with acid!

Lorazepam however i just thought was pretty crap, gives you the groggy fuzzy headed feeling of temazepam, but with none of the enjoyable recreational effects. So thats why i nominate it for my least favorite. But i think with benzos they are all fairly similar in effects and so what one people like the best comes down very much to personal preference, there is no right answer really, just whatever works best for you.

I've no vast experience or real basis of comparison but in passing I'd say lorazepam though I like the kind of sweet taste and dissolvability under the tongue. It as with other low power benzos is best utilized as a wd aid from opiates.
