31 GAUGE + 0.5mL volume

Plenty of room for my chiva and the needle's so I barely feel a pinch =] thank you walgreens!

20 gauge bitches...jk....thats just what they kept using on me in the hospitals i went to.

...pretty sure im gonna have permanent scars from that shit. All the nurses couldnt find a vein even though I told them exactly where to put it, they wouldnt listen, they were like ..."son, ive been doin this for 25 years so please let me do my job". and then eventually after he/she had stabbed me like 20 times and there was blood everywhere, they would give in and try my spot and it would work like a charm everytime.

Theres one thing you can count on in life...a junky knows where to hit his own veins.(or ex-junky for that matter)

yeah, my veins suck but I know my way around them obviously. it was horrible trying to get blood drawn and they would be missing all over the place, hurting my poor arms/veins. finally, I would be like "you have to go right here, at this angle." after they would be done looking at me like I was crazy, they would do it and it worked like a charm every time

Every junkie has a "I had to tell the nurse which vein to hit" story. ;)

30 or 31 gauge, 1cc, short tip (5/16'')

I don't care about the brand, always used BDs but found the 1/2 price walmart brand works just as well. They did seem to dull faster, but I didn't use them more than once so it didn't make a difference.

30 gauge 1cc 1/2'' is the way to go. I like the BD's the best. The needles don't seem as bendy and flimsy. Considering I have to re-use rigs sometimes, especially on weekends when the exchange isn't open, I'm a lot less worried about breakage with the BD's.. and they just seem more comfortable than other brands' products.

I usually use McKesson 27g 1/2inch 1cc works. Only kind the exchange gives, never had any problems with them though, would usually last over 50 times of re-use until I had to use another.

I only use BD fits... I like 'em best.

31g 1/2cc 5/16" for dope & coke, 30g 1cc 5/16" for Dilaudid pills & 29g (luer-lok) 3cc 3/8" for oxycodone & morphine pills.

I use the 3cc barrels for micron filtering pill shots as well.

depends, for gear standard 1ml insulin syringe for k (IM) 2ml blue stripe rigs. i don't know what gauge though, im in the UK so just get them from the needle exchange and they only have 3 types so iv never had a need to look at the gauge, i simply say a bag of blue stripes or a bag of red stripes. im sure it'd say on the packaging but iv never needed to look. im pretty sure the 2ml are 28 and the 1ml are 31 or 30 or something. i dont really use em anymore though

Gerogie: I hope you're not serious about re-using a rig 50 times, I don't care how well it seems to hold up, that's just insane. I'll use a rig 3 or 4 times (all in one "session," since that's how many hits it takes to go through all the meds). But even after "only" 4 hits, when I open a fresh one I can totally feel the difference, it just goes in like butter!

It doesn't matter what rig you use, it's safer and helps minimize track marks to use a new needle every time.

Sure, its possible to reuse and not have issues, but it will always be better with new ones. Always.

And seriously, no whining about how there is no exchange near you or the local pharmacy won't sell them... You can buy a box of 100 online for a few bucks, so there is really no excuse to use a needle over and over again until it becomes a fucking ball point pen!
