What's your biggest stumbling block to escaping addiction?

I think that the biggest stumbling block to beating addiction is the euphoric fantasizing (sexual perversions) that only come when really high.=D

well i can't really have fun unless i'm high on something. being sober just feels like i'm someone else..i guess because drugs are such a big part of my identity and find ordinary consciousness to be depressing and stale much of the time.

I got into trouble recently and enrolled myself in rehab before the court makes me.

At first I was dreading the group sessions, but they really help to put things in perspective. I haven't even met with a counselor for an individual session, but I hope the whole process will help me get used to a life without drug use.

I just can't handle recreational drug use, and I like who I am more when I'm not doing any drugs.

depression, insomnia and anxiety

That and back pain are my demons.
I couldn't help today but score as my back was causing me extreme grief.
I recently told my doc that I use Heroin. She's referring me somewhere for maintenance.. but I don't know when. I'm just playing the waiting game.. :|
Also unsure what to use. Methadone wouldn't involve waiting around for a Bupe tab to dissolve under my tongue each day at the pharmacy... But it would be harder to get off...
