Whats you faveroite song about Heroin?

Under The Bridge (Red Hot Chili Peppers). Other good songs are Golden Brown (Stranglers), Perfect Day (Lou Reed) and Mr Brownstone (Guns 'n' Roses)

Alot of Heroin related songs were in trainspotting. One being "perfect day". Love that song, it makes perfect sence.
 
god summa my fave songs are bout H., they've all already been mentioned
my favorite song of all time (not just fav. drug song) is the beautiful but so so so sad acoustic version of pool shark, by sublime, i cried when i first heard that song

ball and chain - social distortion (i assume mike is referrin' to drugs and alc. as the ball and chain)
waitn for my man - vu (god dont you fucking hate that?! always fuckin waitin for the guy to show up)

p.s. - i didn't think lou reed's "perfect day" was bout heroin, anyone got any knowledge bout that?

Oh and hey jude isnt about heroin, it was origionally entitled hey jules. Paul wrote it for julian lennon, john's first and largly ignored son. He felt bad because when john married yoko and had there son sean, he pretty much forgot about his previous child.
 
Seems to me Pennyroyal Tea by Nirvana is about Abortion not heroin... my fav's are the Doors version of Heroin and all the alice and chains stuff. Deftones is also has a very opiate-sound to it.
 
perfect day is clearly NOT about heroin.

Just because it was in a heroin movie doesn't make the song about heroin.

That song is by 311 and they are very pro-marijuana and are more of the psychedelic type. I doubt that they are talking about heroin.

No, pennyroyal tea was an old traditional herbal medicine for stomach pains . . . Kurt took heroin to help with his horrible stomach pains . . . put two and two together.

Not talking about the 311 song, but an old pop song from the fifties or sixties . . . you'd know it if you heard it . . . and that could have two meanings . . . it could also be about going downtown to score.

The song is open to interpretation. the verse

"You make me forget myself,
for a minute I thought I was someone else
Someone good'

and especially the refrain at the end

'You just keep me hanging on',

which sounds desperate, not romantic, have lead plenty of people to believe it is about heroin. Lou reed wrote it. It really is not that unlikely.
