I've been a lurker on here off and on for quite a while, and after a suggestion on another site I decided to go ahead and make a account.

I'm coming up on being away from opiates for a year, and have been having alot of issues with staying away in the past few months. Really I'm just hoping to be able to talk with some people who understand the position I've gotten myself into

You are in the right place! There are many here who are struggling as you are and need the support that the Bluelight community can offer to help them stay strong. Like you I am off opiates-and everything else but my meds for that matter-and rely very much on the support that Bluelight provides.
I highly recommend you check out The Dark Side (TDS). It is right up your alley. I think you will be quite comfy there. In fact,after reading the forum guidelines for TDS,post in the "Introduce Yourself" thread and do just that.
