what's up with Urban Meyer?

first, he wanted to quit coaching all-together. now, he says that he will rejoin the team after their spring and summer break. the reports have said that he has sufferred heart and chest pains due to constant rage, stress, and excitement.

I know that I place way too much importance on sports and I feel like sports have made me age a little more than I normally would. I can't even consider what it would like to be a coach. I would be mentally deranged in no time.

Meyer is one of the greatest NCAA coaches of all-time. I'm proud to say that he spent a lot of time with Ohio State football.

but what's up with him? certainly there has to be something else going on. how do you think the Gators are going to respond without him? Tim Tebow said that he cried when he found out that Meyer was quitting, but there really is no surprise there.

He knows TT won't make it in the pros, hence dropping the hint earlier about him helping coach the Gators sometime......like next year! :D

He's staying at florida. They actually have a front office job for him. He just can't handle the head coach related stress that comes with the job. All you guys who are fans of shitty teams hoping to pick him up as your next coach are dreaming. He won't be leaving UF anytime soon.

that sucks that he can't handle it. Meyer is a tried and true professional. I just can't buy that claim so easy, what with some college football coaches lasting 10 years and even more. it sucks that it seems like NCAA coaches are really getting burned out with more frequency than us Bluelighters, these days.
