What's the story behind your nickname - Part 2

Im one of those boring ppl who never had a nickname and so struggle to find a nick for their online selves...
Mine comes from the Praetorian Guard, the group of elite Roman soldiers who protected the Emperor and Rome itself (since the Roman armies themselves weren't permitted to enter the city to prevent military coups by Generals) I've always had an interest in ancient history, especially ancient military history.....
My signature is the words from my favourite anthem from way back, Buggin' by Vagan... We are buggin'.....

Was smoking cones at a friends house and we were watching some movie(he works at civic and gets all the test videos to watch), cant think of the name coz it was prety shitty, but anywaysss for some reason Sisquo pipes up and says "My coach used to call me crazylegs" As soon as he said that i couldnt stop laughing and i kept repeating it over and over. Later that night foy (friend) introduced me to bluelight, and it just seemed an appropiate nick at the time.
 
Ok mine is a little less dramatic than everyone else's..
About um.... 4 years ago (don't remeber exactlly)
I logged into irc, being the young thug that i was i thought it would be amusing to call myself fbi. So i registered the nick, unfortunatlly in my irc virginity i forgot my password.. so next time i logged on i couldn't use fbi as my nick :(
sooooooo.. i changed it to fb1. The nickname stuck and i was a lazy mofo so never bothered to change it.
Everyone calls me efff-bee-one, instead of eff-bee-eye, which is cool. And makes for some cool acronyms i.e. Fucked Buddy 1.
So that's it.. how eff-bee-one got his nick.. and what a magical fantastical voyage it was for us all. :)
 
My nick comes from the overwhelming desire I get to sit on the roof after I've munched pills.
Snrub, I knew I recognised your name from somewhere! I have a different Simpsons nick in the pipeline - you'll know it when you see it.
 
Anyone ever see the show HR PufNStuf? While i can't say i was old enough to watch it originally they did release the show on video a few years ago. I always had the feeling that the creators of the show had to be smokin something ill, considering the fact the characters on the show gave me the hardcore paranoias even when off the choof. Also i figured it'd be mad if there was a kid's TV character named THCPuffNStuff, and since at the time i wuz a bit of a smoker the nick did well to describe my own state too. OF course now i've more or less quit (except for the occasional 6am joint) but the name still amuses me for its ability to be appreciated on many a level.

Quite simply..my name's Ant. Well, my name's Anthony..but..i don't like that..so my sisters started calling me Anth...then my mates started calling me Ant...and when i tired to reg "aNt" on AustNet..it was taken (damn you!)...so i added a funky little ^ to the end...
i know..boring..
BUT!
for a (VERY slightly) more interesting story...
i used to use the nickname QwertenberG....and no..it's not just a bunch of letters put together ;)
One day, when i was rather high in english class...was sitting there, writing useless stuff in the back of my book, when i thought of the word "Gishenberg"...dunno where the hell it came from. Then i relised i had IT class next, and remembered the QWERTY keyboard...and since i was in such a state..i decided to see what i could do to put the 2 words together..hehe...and i ended up with QwertenberG...it actully isn't that bad to say in real life :)
Anyway! Thats my little thing...coz i'm bored :)

at SLINKY (my first eva rave, 1st eva pill) i popped a rather goergeous pill known as a "white diamond".. this little dreamboat not only introduced me to the joys of jaw clenching and getting a massage when extrememly gacky, but also introduced me to the idea that practically no matter what type of MD i take, it will cause me to hullucinate.
kool, huh? :D
anyways, i was left at one stage seated on the ground with some people and told not to move.
i then started to stare at the moon. this lasted (i'm told) for over an hour... my bf returned to find me cowering but still staring at the moon... my eyes were transfixd.
he pulled me away and i told him what i saw; the moon had changed colours (very pretty at first) until it changed/morphed into a grey jack-o-lantern with rather menacing teeth... this began to grow and grow and grow until i was convinnced that it was going to eat me and the earth.
the rest of the night i was freaked and couldn't look at the moon.
to this day i can't look at the moon while trippn' just in case i get freaked again... lol.
 
Me and some friends watched some shitty american ghetto gangsta movie. You know how they call each other G? well the G is for gangsta (incase you didn't know). Well...me and my mates decided we'd be gangstas from then on. We even had a special hand signal and hand shake. Anyways, well Im not african american, so I could be a real G. So I decided to be a Pseudo G.
 
I've always been fascinated by the concept of a paradigm. Contemplating it a little more, I suggest it is because much of my life has consisted of shifting paradigms. Guess that doesn't mean much to those who don't know me.
The number seven also holds interest to me, being the biblical 'holy' number.
That's about where it's at
 
im just a funki chick, and spelling it with an i looks more appealing than spelling it with a y to some weird reason to me.
i also get paid out for spelling it this way because i really cannot spell, people think i spelt it this way because i truly believed it was spelt this way.... but their wrong :)
 
well, I like to read tarot cards, and pills usually make me feel quite psychic, so... cups is the suit of tarot relating to relationships, pleasure (including intoxication ie to be in one's cups is old slang for drunk) emotions and health. Its is also the suit of 'water' element. So can you see the patterns here...?
The 2 of cups in particular is a card of meeting new people, 2 people coming together as friends or lovers, and the pleasure that brings.
Well, I thought it was appropriate *grin*.

Well theres two parts to this,firstly ever since school my friends have called me ZUL,it comes from the first three letters of my surname.Secondly no im not a doctor,that came from a mate who for some unknown reason(ive never asked him why)just started to call me Dr ZUL.So there you go thats where my nickname came from.
 
The first time on of my now ex boyfriends ever called me, he was doing so as a prank wiv one of his friends, and they were like talking shit to me. Anyways they got of the phone after they had their fun, me still having no idea who i talked to. Later he rang up and apologised and told me who it was (he didn't use to be the kinda guy that did this, like used to just use chicks and do stupid shit to them i guess.) Anyways the reason he did was once him and his best friend had gotten off the phone to me, his friend said- that chick sounds like a 'Boppychick,' he said it really funnily though. Usually wiv the stuff they were saying to me a girl would have prolly got shitty and hung up, but i played their little game. Newyas my bf, about a few months later told me why he called me back, and it was because they had thought i was a 'boppychick.'
Not with the guy anymore obviously, but i think the name suits me anyways, i am pretty boppy/energetic/silly!!! :) Bit boring but yeah. Sometimes i wanna change it, but i cant think of anything that would suit me more :)

Initially I started posting in US social and felt like a bit of a stray alien. Of course my nationality is also astray-lian.
Simple really.
 
If anyone saw the expression i wore all night at September Utopia@ the Dome. You know why actually most people form BL I met that nite called me that, and it stuck. Originallly it was "that smiley guy"
