What's the story behind your nickname - Part 2

I was given the name by a girl I met in a goth club (yes, I know, don't start on me...it was a long time ago and I was young and impressionable.) Talked to her for ages and was raving about snow and skiing and snowball fights and making angels and stuff, so she started calling me SnowBoy.
Incidently, she and I are still friends and I've recently dragged her out and introduced her to the joys of brightly coloured pills, much to her delight and the delight of those around her. Some of you might have met her at Kryal or Depth Charge. She's not a bluelighter yet, but I'm sure it'll happen soon enough.

I came up with this a few years back when I needed a nick for ICQ.
...it all started when i was about 11.
*hits fast forward*
...fell in love with smashing pumpkins
*fast forwards again*
...and then i thought "hey, that would make a cool nick". and then it was done.

i've got a killer sweet tooth and the first time i went to sublime it was for my birthday so all night i bounced around telling strangers that it was my birthday and i'd give them a fruit tingle. they great fun when ur peakin! i've always got em so if a strange girl with purple glasses offers u a fruit tingle its me!

It was all quite silly really... kind of an in-joke where you had to be there...
my sister + me + dudette were walking down the street in a bit of a daze and we walked past a house and over the house there is the word PIPIT painted in orange.
my sissy goes "hmmmm... PIPIT!" and we all look around. me + dudette finally get it and i say "pipit!" then dudette says "And my first child shall be named Pipit... Pipit Junior actually" which led us to a big adoption issue to do with the name and all, how she'd have to find a Pipit Snr first.
A couple of weeks later we were trying to find a name (thankyou tars for all your brilliant suggestions!) and i suddenly realised the lovely ring that PIPIT had... seeing as dudette will not be having babies for quite some time.
the ^^ were because i fucked up when registering. not real exciting i'm afraid.
And that's the end of the story.

Well mines from the movie "Clerks" you know when Jay and the guys are talking outside the shop with Olaf, Jays cousin from Russia?? He sings that song BIZERKA wot a fuckin classic... "Did he say making fuck?"

I cant remember if I already posted this somewhere already.....
Umm I worked as a bicycle courier in the Melbourne CBD for 6 months this year and '86' was my radio callsign. Basically, even in face to face contact, everyone called each other by their abitrary numbers.
To me, it just kinda went to show that even if they had called me by my real name (matthew) it wouldn't hold any more meaning as it was something I didn't choose.
So why think really hard and choose a name that was cool and stuff anyway??
If I say something that interests you, you'll probably come on over and talk to me. I'd much rather this than people talking to me because I had a gheyfluffybunny kinda name.
Haagen Dazs.

danslave, derived from manslave.
theres some game out there somewhere where the word manslave is mentioned, i forgot it by now. but anyways, a mate of mine was showing me this really nice game called Giants, and said "you have to collect the manslaves" (little guys that build your base for you) and somehow that word stuck.
oh, n i went round calling people manslaves, they all looked at me really weird the first time, then got used to it,

Best movie in the whole world? Clerks.
Lead character in Clerks? Dante.
End of story.
(Apart from that little star thingy, that's cause some bastard already has "Dante"... :P)
Sorry to disappoint those who thought I read the Inferno too much or something, I'm not that intellectual.

Somehow, sometime I corrupted my real name and arrived at Matx.
When it came time to have a cool net handle, a friend suggested adding a "Sy-" prefix, thus causing Symatx.
In due time, friends shortened it to Sym.
And one of my many permutations of Sym is pseudoSym, 'cause Sym is my pseudonym.

Some others include, Symple, Symplistic, Symposiarch, Symikins, myStery, myStique, Some Young Male, Fake Plastic Sym and so on and so forth.
As for the signature, I say it on the door of some lecturer's office in my faculty building and thought it was quite amusing.

This thread is way long, so if any one reads this it's good for a laugh.
First. My name is Aaron, shock horror. Mind you my birthday is Jan 1. This is where I got my name from. APPARENTLY I was SUPPOSED to be a GIRL. When my dad, half tanked after the new years celebrations, found out I was ACTUALLY a BOY, out came the book of names, Aaron: two A's. Presto. You think I lie. Imagine your father getting up at your 21st and telling this story (and you actually knowing it because you've heard it before).
Next... and FOBB. FOBB stands for Friend Of Buddy Bear. He is my raving dog. He is NOT a teddy bear, he is a DOG.
All things being equal fat people use more soap.
