What's the problem? (morphine)

All these experiences i am reading shows that they are only needing 20-40mg to feel any affects. But when i take 60mg of morphine oraly in pill form i get nothing? Do you get stronger affects if you disolve morphine in water?
 
What you want to do is grind it down to a powder & let it dissolve on soda or ginger ale or something that has the bubbly acid in it. It should dissolve within 8 hours & then you can drink the concoction & you should get a great high off of it.

On the other hand, I got really high my first time doing 25mg of Morphine SR, so I dont know man............was this your 1st time doing Morphine?
 
Morphine has a terrible oral bioavailability (and an even worse nasal one) so that could be why... but I imagine 60mg is not instant release, so you need to defeat the time release for it to all be released at once (TLB's method would certaily work - you can just grind it up, but if it's waxy it isn't easy to do)

Do you have any opioid experience? Opioid conversion chart - if you have experience in any other opioids you can see how an oral morphine dose would compare.

I never took the outer waxing off........I just grind up the pill. When I get the grey 100mg SR ones & chop them up in quarters, thats 25mg each. Once you dissolve it over night, at least the SR ones I get, they completely dissolve & the liquid should be clear.

How many mgs should you try? I don't entirely understand, when you took the 60mg pill did you crush it and remove the waxy coating, and still no effects? Or are you asking how many mgs you should take now you have crushed it? If you are opioid-naive I'd go with 1/4 to 1/2 of the pill (15-30mgs morphine) - the lower dose is safer of course and some people are very sensitive to opioids, but oral morphine is generally disappointing due to it's terrible oral bioavailability. Take a look at the conversion chart I linked in my earlier post if you have taken other opioids..
 
I had the same problem with morphine pills. I used to get 30mg and 60mg ones, and gave up on them after realizing a few norco's gave me a much better buzz than 90mg of Morphine (taken orally)
 
Yeah morphine is very dissapointing. I snorted 90mg last night with a mild buzz and some bad side affects.
 
^ oral has a higher bioavailability than snorting (15-20% snorted vs 30% oral) so you're better off bombing/parachuting the powder or putting it in a drink.. but yes, overall people tend to be disappointed with morphine.

What side effects did you experience?
 
What kind of Morphine pills are you guys getting? First time I took 25mgs of SR orally, my legs felt like jello & I was very sedated...........now I get a better high & get euphoria when I snort. I guess there is all kinds of Morphine pills out there. The grey ones that I have gotten are very powdery............
 
I threw up 3 times after eating somthing. & the pills were 30mg each , purple and SR
 
Buccal morphine is the best. Let it dissolve in a small amount of liquid with high acidity and hold it in your mouth for as long as you can. Make sure to swish it around and coat you entire mouth continuously. This should help you absorb more from a smaller amount.

I mostly use it as a booster.

A lot of people just don't find morphine that euphoric. I can easily take over 200mgs orally after not taking any opiates for 4 or so months, and the high is meh (I will nod, but it's just not a euphoric kind). And that is when my oxy tolerance was around 120mgs before the break, so it's not like I was at a ridiculous dose of oxy that 4 months wouldn't lower much. Furthermore, even now I would prefer 60mgs of oxy to over 230mgs of morphine. Morphine takes any pain away, but usually just makes my stomach growl, giving me the munchies, along with the usual side effects.

As Jay said, I too only really use it as a booster, so I can get more effects from whatever other opiate I am taking that I actually find euphoric.
 
I know exactly what your talking about. When i snorted 90mg i was nodding out alot but it wasnt euphoric. Nodding was probably one of the few affects i got from it
 
^ I actually don't find much of a difference in effects between 200 and 300mgs. They both feel the same to me, with the exception of the 300mgs maybe lasting a little longer, and a heavier nod. I wouldn't chase any euphoria with morphine though, as it will just raise your tolerance with no benefit to you.
