What's the point?

When using the amphetamine mephedrone via snorting when there's a bit left over from wherever you snorted it, what is the point in gumming it? It's either just me or it does absolutely nothing other than leaving an unpleasant taste in your mouth. Or does it actually do anything? I know people gum coke, because it makes their mouth numb.

Is their any point in gumming drone?

While I'm not sure of mephedrones specific bio-availability, I'm sure that it does have somewhat of an oral bio-availability, so more of the drug would be absorbed than if the leftovers were just discarded. If you aren't noticing any effects, then perhaps the oral absorption rate for meph is just very poor. Maybe someone else can produce some actual numbers as far as the bio-avail goes.

you can gum mephedrone, but i wouldn't bother, it tastes nasty... and usually i'm not so desperate i need to gum the last 0.01mg of mephedrone... if theres some left over i just leave it for when i rack up my next line, i'll add it to that
