What's the name of the hallucinogenic phenomenon where everyone looks like midgets?

No, this thread is not a joke. I read about this particular hallucination, it has a specific name. It was in reference to anti-cholinergic deliriums like DPH/Datura.

I read about it in either a Datura or a Scopolamine experience on erowid and couldn't get over how interesting it sounded.

I've actually had macropsia happen to me on numerous occasions with just weed. My entire surrounding environment is almost like a giant megalopolis.
 
hmmm i was thinking more towards Charles bonnett syndrome but i guess im way off....still pretty interesting stuff tho!!!!

I'll step right out and admit that I don't think I have the balls to try Henbane.


What was your dosing like? I know this means jack shit since potency varies from plant to plant, but still.
 
I've gotten micropsia from mushrooms, but I think those alone. It's pretty wild. One of the less common effects like synaesthesia but REALLY interesting.
 
Oh so there's an actual term for this! I've experienced micropsia a couple of times on high dose's of both LSD and Mushrooms.. for me personally i found it to be a more common occurrence inside a house or building then outside in the forest, possibly due to the nature of feeling enclosed.

It's got to be one of the strangest changes in perception i've ever experienced on traditional psychedelics, especially if time is simultaneously altered..
 
I've had this happen with weed too, and a hedge turn into fish scales because of the way the suns light was shining on them and reflecting.
 
I doubt it really depends much on the setting, it is like a fundamental error in comparing proportions and proprioception. Could be pretty much anything to compare yourself with and feel exceedingly huge or tiny. Both are possible.
 
I have had this happen to me on 2c-b in the shower. was coming up rather rough so I decided a warm shower would calm me. was tripping hard and it was like I was a giant and soaps and shampoos and bath were microscopic. no humans involved but myself I know, but it was awesome. like being a cartoon giant.
 
I thought it was common for people to experience that. I have also had it happen on Methoxetamine (redosing have never been more complicated)
 
LOL, this reminds me of my second shroom experience where a large group of people all looked like they had downs syndrome... Good goofy fucken times. That shit was so funny.
