When I first got into Bill Hicks, I was surprised to hear him recount an experience almost identical to one me and two of my buddies had once, my first time on acid...It was one of my favorite skits of his, where he goes over a time when he got pulled over trippin(hilarious stuff btw)with his friends, and the first time I heard it I listened intently as soon as he said that...Turns out, my sophmore year, when I was still far from experienced with hallucinogenics, only taking coricidin and dramamine once before, my two friends hooked me up with two gel tabs, that I wearily took before going to eat at Steak and Shake before they kicked in...We seen two friends who had just came back from a long arguous roadie, and were severely smoked out, and chilled with them as it kicked in...I'd never felt anything like it before, and was talking up a storm, bustin everyone up, making fun of pretty much everyone in the restaurant quite vocally...Needless say, we left in a heap of confusion, realizing we had little time to get to my friends "safe" house, before we were dangerous, and so we clamored out of the restaurant, and took off....Soon as we pull out, we spot a cop behind us, and start freaking out...He follows us a ways, but it was a big, busy road for our town, and there was a chance he would just pass us by....
Not that night...We made a turn at a an intersection, and then BAM the lights went on, and my trip kicked in, fully, for the first time in my life....I was in the passenger seat, and my friend B was freaking out as he usually did, and we hurriedly tried to put our cigarettes out of view of the cop as we pulled into a parking lot(they were 16 i was 15 and then cigarettes were a big deal oddly)...I stared at the cop lights pulsing, and spinning in neon red white and blue, and my world came unglued...The dashboard started melting into the windshield, and all kinds of bad shit, and I was strunggling with keeping my friends B from fucking it up for all of us...My other accomplice, A was in the back, not thinking too much of the situation thanks to the strange confidence/giddiness the LSD gave him, tossing his cigarette out the window right in front of the cop without realizing it...We did alright, and besides me fudging on my own fuckin name like I always do with cops(not a good idea either just for the info), and got out of it with a tail-light warning...At one point, a cop pulled behind the other one and they talked a bit as they ran over our info...It was past curfew and all that nonsense, but came out unscathed, and retreated to A's basement, jilted and in awe that we had survived it without looking through melting bars all night....That was mighty uncomfortable...
I'll keep this one a little shorter....Me, my friend S, and F were out driving around in the backroads, coming back from a party, smoking way too many chillums and not watching our speed...S and I are both on Xanax(which I now loathe)7 for me, and 5 for him, with five more in a cellophane in his pocket...We got pulled over, they knew we'd been smoking, and I was a dead give-away in my state(I don't take Xanax too well)and they ask us to step out of the vehicle and all the joyous crap...We get out, it's freezing, I was shaking in the truck even, and I start having what looked to be seizures I was so damn cold...The cops found our bud, and piece, and we told them the truth...They said someone was on their way down, and to go and wait in the truck....Right then we knew something was up, we should have been in the back by that time...Right after, we see a cop from the town I lived in driving down the road, who happened to be my friend F's aunt, whom I'd totally forgotten about...She was a cop in a town real close, and she got us off the hook...She took F home, and the cop took me and S who was living with me at the time...My mom knew I smoked pot, so when the cop told her he found some pot in the car and she just said "oh, I'm not surprised", and he left, I explained away saying that it was all F's weed and that we were just getting a ride home, all of which was in fact the truth....She shook her head, went to bed, and forgot about it...Man, I forget how cool my mom was alot of the time...anyways, those were pretty uncomfortable situations....I've got a little bit too many I think...
