Kratom What's the longest it can take Kratom/K-extract WD to start? Can you get lucky and have none?

I'm a very on again-off again Kratom user. It used to be that if I used too many days in a row and stopped I'd immediately get WD that would always last exactly 3 days. About a year ago that changed and somehow I didn't even START having WD till around day 3-4 and it would last 5-7 days, with days 4-5 being the worst.

I didn't used to frequently use extracts, but now I've been using a lot of OPMS black, probably like 4 days a week and plain leaf the others for about 3 weeks. Saturday was the last day I used OPMS, Sunday was the last day I used plain leaf, and today it's Wednesday and I still have no WD. A few weeks ago I thought I was going to get WD from a similar (but shorter, only like 10 days) usage pattern and went 4 days before dosing again and got none. I don't know if it would have shown up later had I not gone back to it.

Is it possible that I won't get any WD? And if I do, it couldn't like, show up after a whole week or something and suddenly hit me hard right? It's just very weird. I usually can start to feel it creeping up on me by day 3, but I don't this time and I didn't last time. Could it be different cause it's extracts and my past experiences with WD have usually been plain leaf? But extracts are stronger so shouldn't my WD be worse? Not to mention I've also been taking plain leaf.

I figure there's really only so long it could ever take for WD from any substance to start right? What do people think the longest it could take would be before I'm in the clear?

How much you can get away with depends on factors such as your individual physiology. Some people can use kratom for weeks/months/years (at least at first) without ending up in much of any withdrawal. Or you can be unlucky and have first symptoms after 10 days or so. It also depends on how often you have been through withdrawal (the more often you undergo WD, the worse it can become and the less you might be able to get away with in the future. There are people with considerable history of opioid addiction that by now get sick after only a day or two of kratom usage). For me withdrawals would start a day or two after cessation (runny nose, shivers.Thankfully that's it for me).

I am really not sure how to judge the role of extracts regarding WD severity. Technically those alkaloids are already present in the plant matter or get metabolized from mitragynine and therefore should have diminishing returns at a certain dose-level, just like kratom powder. So extracts too might be somewhat self-limiting in their addiction potential compared to traditional opioids but on the other hand, it seems much easier to ramp up your tolerance with an extract rather than by chugging down an ounce of powder and higher tolerance usually equals worse WD.
