🌟🌟 Social 🌟🌟 What's the last film you saw? v. Why doesn’t Peter Jackson wear shoes?

I tried it and couldn't understand what they were sayin' and not one to read subtext. Maybe I can find a link with dual audio....
I am finding Alien Earth somewhat entertaining as it's a slightly different slant to the whole franchise. Personally not much for ET BS including the Alien movies.

Alien is not Alien, is more like exploring generic attempts at revingoring the saga with android concepts.

Last ok alien from all films was Convenant.

10/10 audio/story.

and Weapons i dunno what is about, initially what I was sort of not curios but wanted to somehow circulate the traffic so to say witihin, was the poster.

steampunk
I do like steampunk. Always have.

I like it. Seems appropriate for the times.
Too bad these "kids" can actually be killed. I don't know if they gonna be able to resurrect ol boy from last episode but de looked cooked.
A fresh take, imo.
That dude that calls himself prodigy is a trip.

Papillon and Easyrider, getting into the classics of all sorts these days
Have never seen Easyrider, madly. Suppose I should really.
.
Just rewatched "A Fistful of Dollars" for the first time in decades last night, kinda by accident - great film. Am gonna have to rewatch the other two next (It's part of a trilogy, the others being "For a Few Dollars More" and "The Good the Bad and the Ugly").

They became known as 'Spaghetti Westerns' and have an atmosphere and vibe all of their own - thoroughly recommend.

I had a friend many years ago, "Tall Tom", who looked a lot like that era Clint Eastwood. He got himself a similar-ish poncho type thing to complete the effect and had the ladies dripping off him, much to our bemused jealousy haha. He was a good-looking bastard tho and a lovely guy too, tbf. Was last heard of hitchhiking from Birmingham (uk) to Kathmandu circa 1991...

Jurassic World Rebirth (2025)

I enjoyed this a lot more than the other Jurassic World movies. This one actually feels more like Jurassic Park 4 than a continuation of the Jurassic World series. It's less cheezy and gimmicky than the other Jurassic World movies, which is great. Overall I don't have many complaints about this installment. My biggest complaint is probably Scarlett Johansson, she just doesn't fit well in that role. She feels like a Hollywood plant. She does not play a convincing covert Spec Ops agent. I don't have anything against her as an actress, it just doesn't seem to work in this movie.

I agree. It's way better than the other newer films. Still not great, but heading in the right direction for sure.

If you're on the fence about seeing One Battle After Another, go ahead and jump off. Do yourself a favor and see it in theaters.

Been a while since I watched There Will Be Blood, but from my recollection and for my money, this is the best PTA and could eventually work its way into my top 25-50 all time.

Did you see it yet @Cream Gravy?
No, just came out yesterday right? I had to drive to another city for a doctor appt. And got no sleep as a result till I slept for 12 hours just now lol.

I’m gonna try and see it next weekend probably.

On Monday I have to deal with a cunt pharmacist. My doctor put in my six month alprazolam script for my spastic colon, as per usual for over six years now… and the pharmacist called me five minutes later to inform me she won’t fill it, didn’t give any explanation as to why save for “it’s too much” and said that she will only talk to my doctor but still won’t fill it and that I see a doctor “too far away”. Didn’t even accuse me of abuse or anything… so I’m fairly sure it’s a religious thing with this bitch.

So yeah I am currently stressed. I liked the generic brand that pharmacy carries and the other pharmacy in town uses an Indian generic that’s mostly bunk.

I tried to look into legal recourse to maybe sue her for bias or something but apparently pharmacists are immune and can deny scripts for whatever reason (racism, religion, etc.) but I just don’t get why one would become a pharmacist if one believes that no one should ever ever ever have any medications.

So I am stressed. Probably gonna have to change to a pharmacy that doesn’t carry the brand I prefer, assuming they aren’t religiously biased too…

And so I don’t feel like seeing any films or going out this weekend till I sort this out on Monday and get my doc to at least chew her a new one. I told him she’d said rude stuff to my wife last time she picked it up for me and he said he’d advocate for me and ensure I get my script filled.

*sigh*
