We have a tradition that every year on the same date we sit and re-watch what we affectionally refer to as 'cat racing' but goes by the title of 'Jeffery Bernard is Unwell'*
*Jeff was an alcoholic and for over thirty years his sole employment was his weekly column in The Spectator. Often a courier would pick up the copy from Jeff's regular haunt, The Coach and Horses pub in Soho. But about a third of the time the courier would arrive to find Jeff unconscious sat at his regular table with his typewriter in front of him. In this (regular) event, The Spectator would simply print 'Jeffery Bernard is Unwell' with no apology, hence the title.
So niche - above is the entire play. I dare anyone not to laugh at the cat racing scene.
