🌟🌟 Social 🌟🌟 What's the last film you saw? v. Why doesn’t Peter Jackson wear shoes?

The first lord of the rings but in French, luckily there were subs though. Def upping my Francaise game.

Braveheart: the first 2hour and 10 or so minutes were great. Unfortunately it is based on a true story and the ending is well based on true story and not a happy conclusion, to a great movie.

Rewatched Who'll stop the rain. Great movie with Nick Nolte in it. Havent seen this this since i was a teenager and way before i got into opiates so some of this movie makes more sense to me now. The part where Nolte gives the woman heroin because she ran out of dilaudid and is dopesick makes sense now. Some other things are just made up though like the guy being deathly afraid of iving a speedball as opposed to iming it. For 1 you never im coke especially street coke and 2 iming is just as strong as iv.

When this came on tv the internet as we know it didnt exist. Also i didnt even have the internet until like 2000 or so i couldnt just hop on and look shit up.

Once upon a Time in Hollywood by Quentin Tarantino. Mediocre Film but funny roles are played by brad Pitt and leonardo DiCaprio.

Bad Santa 2 - 3.5/5

Higher than average as far as comedy sequels go. Gave me a few belly laughs, but some of it felt like forced fan service (just more of the same jokes), but that goes for most comedies of this nature. If you liked the first one, you'll enjoy this one.

ChromeSkull:Laid to Rest2. It was wicked, most intense slashing scenes available,I'm a horror buff and this one was easy 8 out of 10, can't wait for Heretic in the theaters in November, fantastic reviews,Hugh Grant like you have never seen him!

Hit Man (2024): New Linklater. I didn't know much about it going in, but it turned out to be a strange romantic comedy. Some funny parts but nothing special, and I found the direction it went toward the end unsatisfying.

Speak No Evil (2024): Blumhouse horror in the Hostel genre. The build-up is well-paced and there's some really good acting. It was, however, very predictable, and although often tense, it doesn't quite reach scary. Worth a watch.

French Girl (2024): Romantic comedy set in Québec City. Full of simple but effective humour and self-deprecating Québécois steteotypes, à la Bon Cop Bad Cop. Fun to see so many local stars acting alongside big American names.

Im rewatching the Rivers edge with Keanu Reeves and Dennis Hopper. I havent seen this since i was a kid but some fb group posted it and reminded me of it. Great movie

Christ Crispen Glover plays a creep really well. The whole time i was watching this movie i was expecting Dennis Hopper to whip out the PBR and NOS like he does for the character of Frank Booth in Blue Velvet

V/H/S Beyond (2024)

Some good segments this year, especially the first and second ones. Sci-fi horror done right.
