whats the 'itchiest' opiate?

Oxys seem to make me significantly more itchy than other opiates.. does anyone else get that or is it just me?
 
hmm i dunno really i mean id say maybe oxy but i do remember back in the day when i used to be able to take lortabs and feel it i remember back then gettin the itch mighta been due to tolerance tho
 
Poppy tea hands down. Followed by pure codeine, which is also present in pods. No itching to speak of with hydro/oxycodone.

yea i only got the itching when i was a rookie with zero tolorance i think
i never tried the poppy tea i wouldnt even know how to get ahold of that
that isnt a street drug here :(
 
Codeine, I remember one time I did a CWE on 400mgs of codeine and downed it with a bunch of grapefruit juice, about 20 mins later I was ripping my skin off, had to take a Benadryl. Also pure morphine, but only in IV form, always had horrible histamine reactions to pure morphine IVs.
 
Codeine, poppy tea and morphine all give me the serious itchies, same with oxycodone.

Hydrocodone does as well, but its usually not as bad as oxycodone.

Just another reason to take an antihistamine with your opiate of choice!

I'm assuming you're not IV'ing it? Apparently the histamine release is reduced when diacetylmorphine is parentally administrated due to by-passing the first-stag metabolism.
 
Codeine, morphine, and heroin. Reason for itchiness off of heroin is because of the fact that's a morphine prodrug.
 
Yeah, definately your straight op"iates" morphine, codeine, PT. But for me the first time I snorted a whole 80 OC, I had the worst serious panic attack from the seriousness of my itching it was so intense! i downed a bottle of liquid benadryl i was so desperate.. but once i started IV'ing, it all went away
 
When I used to shoot dope, I used to scratch my legs till they bled that's how bad the itchiness was (because it was morphine activating the opiate receptors).

Besides my legs, my nose would itch like crazy.
 
There's no such thing as heroin - heroin exists only in the exterior. Once it's in your body, it converts to morphine and morphine binds to the receptors and get you high. Heroin is a quicker acting form of morphine (it's a morphine prodrug - it's other name besides di-acetyl-morphine is morphine acetate).

The only reason there isn't as much histamine release with heroin, is because it pushes the morphine quicker to the brain than morphine would on its own.

But still, heroin causes my a lot of itchiness (especially legs and nose).
 
yeah cause I've tried every one of those opiates with the exception of heroin, but we all know that just ends up being morphine anyway once metabolized, and I never have excessive itching. it just doesn't happen with me.
