What's the farthest you've traveled to get drugs?

I used to drive from NJ to NY (about an hour). Now I drive from Stuttgart to Frankfurt. It's about 2 1/2 hours. Then I have to find parking. then I have to wait for the chick to go get it, it can be a nightmare...Plus, in the meantime, I usually have to shit...

the same thing happened to me, but they didn't find the drugs (they found a needle) so I got paranoid after i pulled away and threw everything out the window. That was halfway from san diego to new jersey. but i didn't go back. Those fucking new mexican police. got pulled over twice there, plus i was driving a small moving van that I couldn't sleep in and i had no money for hotels. (I wouldn't've had to sleep if I didn't lose my stash:(

Several times I drove from the New Hampshire coast to Boston to pick up various goodies -- a 1.5~2h drive without traffic. I couldn't find a damn thing when I was living there. Despite its liberalism and wealth, Northern New England is a surprisingly hard place to score if you don't know anybody who uses, even for weed. The locals are very insular. It's the only place where I've ever asked a young, bohemian-looking stranger, "You don't know where I could find some _____?" and been told, "Yeah actually I do, but I don't know you man, so I can't help you."

Does drug tourism to a faraway place count, or does it only count if you went somewhere only with the intent to turn right back around and use at home? If the former, I'd like to enter the pissing contest by saying I went all the way to the Himafuckinglayas to try good wild marijuana.

Mods, I think the word 'gone' in the title should be changed to 'traveled', unless the OP would like to hear stories of desperate junkies volunteering to do live onstage torture porn for their fix.

Ill travel anywhere pretty much..sometimes it's fun to make a vacation out of it.

It's not that serious, but it's the obsessive-compulsive English major in me that compels me to change it anyway. lol

I have to say that I am surprised by all of the stories here. I mean, I can see driving a considerable distance to pick up if you're a dealer, but a user? If it's going to take me longer than half an hour, maybe 45 minutes roundtrip, to pick up, then I'll just forget about it.

30mi on kind terrain is not that long of a bike trip to any experienced, in-shape cyclist. It's no joyride, though, and I commend any regular hard drug user who can do it without batting an eye, or rather, without missing a day of work for legs so achy they won't hold you up.

I think I want to record a version of "Ain't no mountain high enough" that ends the chorus with "To keep me from getting my fix, yeah!"

What's wrong with a little exercise??

Thats not a little exercise when its 100 degrees outside & you can get a heatstroke. Screw that.........nothing wrong with exercise as long as its cool outside or air conditioned indoors. I rather go hiking in the fall & not go long distances looking for drugs.

About 500 km on a Tuesday night one-way home (I had two homes, one where I lived on work days as I worked about 500 km away from my actual home; the 2nd one was company-paid) and back to work (I was at work at about.. noon or so? Luckily I can work basically how I want and at what times I want as I work alone mostly in a very specific area in IT-development) because my bottle of my painkillers got crushed (it was a liquid) in my baggag), all this by train, while being in withdrawals, to buy a new bottle from more shady sources.

To be honest, I'd do it again in a heartbeat. Yes, withdrawals after years of daily usage and having to work sucks donkey balls.

Furthes I ever walked by foot was about 10 km one-way for acid. Would do again.

To each his own.

And 100 degrees? where was that at? in that case i wouldnt advise anybody to do anything but i think you just added that part.

The farthest I've to drive is prob around 70-80 miles round trip. I tried to avoid that though. I always hated driving a long distance carrying. Now that I'm taking a sobriety break for a few years, this shouldn't be so bad. I've never been into opiates or benzos really though so if I didn't feel like driving, I just didn't and tried to find it closer to home.

to ur moms house lol... id say 450 miles round trip. to get several things i like including but not limited to weed, shrooms, pills. one time i walked like two miles for some dank and barz

i know a cat that took a train all the way to chi-town to do some h...and i think to get laied too.from here thats 1200miles,

London to Brighton for some 2c-e,
London to outskirts of Kent (near dover) to get some mushrooms from a field.

the cartels need to do a better job of delivery and insist that their soldiers quit stepping on the dope until it's nothing but a speck. what's happened to good business practice and professional integrity?

No such thing anymore bro.....& that seems like it happens in various different businesses. I never liked coke but have older friends that said the days of good coke were back in the 80's & early 90's & those days will never be seen again by the regular joe.

X was also pretty good in the 80's & if you had a decent connection, you were getting the real deal.

Drove 20 hours one way back int the early 2000's to pick up up to a kilo of cocaine at a time. Glad I never got arrested back then. I enjoy coke, but it is not available here anymore.
