What's the best work-performance-enhancing drug...C Meth?

We all know there are plenty of drugs around to take recreationally, but what about the drugs that can boost work performance? I've read a couple of press articles that say that even though crystal meth is "bad", people who are on it can be very effective at achieving great levels of performance. This got me thinking: (a) is it true that meth can help in this regard and (b) are there other drugs that can be'fun' while also providing the practical benefit of being a work-performance-enhancer? Obviously E wouldn't be helpful when it comes to tackling a task, and I'd hate to see what type of report I'd produce on LSD or K, but what about others?

Well...I always liked taking Vicodin before work. I don't think it was a work-enhancer by any means, but it made the time go by so much faster.

Ive used meth and speed for homework, it does help because you can focus very well. I find that it works best if youre doing repetitive work maybe even writing a paper, i would not use it to study, or read because you might have difficulty understanding what you read. i find that i read too fast when im tweaking so i have to read the same sentance at least twice to understand it.this is very annoying. ive also tried doing homework with E but then i feel i am too fucked up to do homework and just go do something fun. i have heard that you could also get some work done with coke but thats a bit too expencive for my taste.

Speed is a great work enhancer, that is when you are high and you are able to stay focused. I noticed that I think I am focused, but in reality my thoughts are pretty scattered and I always end up doing something off-track. If you can stay focused and actually do what you want to, then good for you. Otherwise, I prefer Vicodin also, because it really generates focus and energy minus the crazy scatter-brain high speed gives. Hey, you might even become valevictorian w/ a nice Meth addiction...

It is not a good idea to get into the habit of using drugs to enhance your ability to do work, except maybe on the most rare of occasions.
That being said... If you have a lot of work to do, and very little time to do it, a relatively small dose of any amphetamine should do the trick (assuming everything goes well). AND, the next day, when you feel terrible because you worked so long the day before, and you have a meeting in five minutes, a little cocaine couldn't hurt. Of course, if you get caught and fired, you can always take a benzo or two to seem a little more relaxed at your next job interview...
Its a bad idea.

I got hooked on Ritalin and Adderrall as a way to keep up with schoolwork. Because at first they made me sooo much more productive, and by the end, i couldn't do the tiniest little asignment without tweaking my balls off. So, it's your choice, but expect the period of improved performance to be temporary at best...

...well, hasn't anyone seen the episode of Family Ties where Alex gets Malory to get him some "diet pills" to help him with his finals? ..classic TV....

I've always found that opiates are great work enhancers (for myself anyway). I really don't think I would have graduated Highschool if I hadn't taken vicodins or percocets at school for almost every day of the year. And at work, they definatly pass time, and keep you alert at the same time. Some people complain it makes them sleepy and groggy, but I find them to keep me active and in a good mood, a mood that kind of actually makes me want to perform better than normal.

I agree with those who said crystal meth is best for improving work performance -- especially in terms of speed and focus power. I also find that I can be more creative (think out of the box, as it were) while on meth -- I've written quite a few excellent English essays in this manner.
Regarding opiates -- I disagree. 1-2 days of every month, I have such severe pain that I need to take 30-60 mg of codeine an hour to be able to function. However, I *never* do as well on tests that I take while on codeine as I do when on the test that I take sober. I find that the codeine *really* slows my thinking down -- even though it can make you (erroneously) *think* you are doing better than you actually are.

I used to use BDO and when I got to work I would find I was great on the phone. People would just think I was EXTREMELY happy. Vicodin or Codeine are good too. Best to use some sort of legal supplement. I would take two Ephedrine pills and drink a cup of coffee but the best legal stack out there is Caffeine, Ephedrine, Green Tea Extract and Tyrisone. Also a bunch of Gingko Biloba always gives energy. You need to take many more than the reccomended dose of Gingko to get the stimulant effects( like 5-6 pills instead of the 2 they say to take). It helps with the production of ATP which is your bodies natural source of energy.

Personally, I've yet to find any high that beats good old endorphins and adrenaline, so regardless of whether your work is physical or mental.....
TRY FUCKING EXCERCISE ALREADY!
Heh.
....and I'm not talking five minutes with "Buns of Bullshit." I'm talking about get your ass on a bicycle and go ride at least fifteen miles. Make sure your seat is high enough that your knees only bend slightly when you're at the bottom of your pedal stroke, and for god's sake don't ride around with your bar-ends pointing straight up unless you like gaping holes in your chest!
Damn lazy-ass american capitalist pigs ;-)
