What's The Best Way To Go Off 60mg Cymbalta (3 months or so)

Hey, so I have came to the conclusion, after about 2 - 3 months of taking 60mg waiting for something noticeable, that Cymbalta is most likely working against me and is the issue in my recent odd depression and lack of motivation, determination, etc.

Does this sound familiar with Cymbalata or another Anti-Depressnt working in the opposite way it should?

The past few weeks I just haven't felt 'right'. I feel different than I did previously before taking it, though I do take Adderall, Klonopin, etc. I don't believe that the Adderall is causing this. I did have a coke binge of doing it almost every day (a g or less a day) for 2 weeks .. but I've taken a lot of MDMA, Heroin, and had coke binges in the past and never felt this 'not right' feeling afterwards.

I haven't been on Cymbalta TOO long I don't believe, unless 3 months (at the most) is long. How should I go about getting off of this as fast as possible, but not too fast that it will make me feel worse ?

P.S- I am a 21 male.

Switch to an equipotent dose of fluoxetine (prozac) and perform a taper.

Fluoxetine is considered the diazepam of SSRI drugs due to its long half-life.

Not at all. You might feel some withdrawal symptoms. As I mentioned, switching to fluoxetine is the easiest route to get off SSRI's because its half-life is much longer than that of other SSRI drugs.

An alternative is tapering with duloxetine in a much more gradual reduction than you mentioned. Perhaps 5-10 milligrams every week, and using fluoxetine at the latter stages of the taper.
